Bagatelle Caterers

I just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal catered by Bagatelle's in Greenville. The various dishes were all delicious, and everyone attending had plenty to eat. This banquet was for my workplace. We usually prepare our own food, but we thought it would be nice to have it catered this year. We were all pleased very much with the food and service. Thank you, Bagatelle's! more

Francois and his staff did a great job with my wedding on October 23rd at Table Rock State Park. Several of my guests commented on how good the food was and that it was some of the best food they had had a a wedding. He did a great job of working with our budget. His staff was professional and did a great job working with the wedding director. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone throwing a wedding in the near future!!!! When I was searching for a caterer for my wedding, I really wanted two things: excellent food and excellent service. I received neither on my special day. Bagatelle Catering has received many "Best Of" awards, however, DO NOT BE DECEIVED. They are not justly awarded. Francois Bertin, the owner, needs a serious attitude check. He actually got into a fight with my Bartenders (also good friends of mine) at my wedding because they wouldn't serve coffee and tea!! Nevermind the fact the we hired 3 waiters with Bagatelle to take care of this very thing. It was a buffet, so it is not like these waiters were busy attending to individuals. He then proceeded to pull my husband away from our reception and scream at him about how unprofessional our bartenders were (which were, incidentally, doing exactly what we asked them to do). He was rude to my family who were generously helping me set up for the big day. Prior to the wedding, he wouldn't return any of our phone calls or emails and he failed to give us proposals in any kind of timely manner - which, as one can imagine, gave us quite a bit of heartburn in preparing for the the most important day of our lives. Our food was cold and it amounted to the cliched "crappy wedding food". Needless to say, I was very disappointed. However, thank goodness our wonderful bartenders took such good care of our guests. Thanks to them, they barely noticed the subpar food or the argument that ensued prior to the reception. more

At a recent event in Greer, a luncheon catered by Bagatelles ran out of food. The luncheon was attended by 50 people while their site boast to catering to thousands. The French attitude might be par the course in Paris, but in Greenville, the owner is walking on thin ice. You're in the SOUTH son! Cons: Ran out of food on a 50-person luncheon more

Best caterer- hands down. They had exactly what I wanted, the food choices are amazing, and I received so many compliments on my wedding food from these guys. Not only did they do food, but they provided the tablecloths, lights, and even a reception coordinator which was a necessity. Their food is delicious and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bagatelle for a wonderful wedding! more
