HARD TO GO WRONG 10/28/2011

There are at least 5 places in Brookhaven to get pizza and the typical foods you would find at a place like Abruzzi's. Their food matches up well with any of the other places in town and I especially like their crab cakes. Not the best I've ever had of course but good considering the type of restaurant and the prices. Also the place is clean, or at least it always is when I've been there. This is important to me since some of the pizza places I've been to in the area are anything but clean. So the food is good, the prices fair & the place is clean. more

Awesome!! 2/22/2011

It is rare these days to experience walking into a place and feeling valued and appreciated, while at the same time getting great food. Yesterday after getting home from a week in San Fran, had to deal with a delayed flight, and United Airlines lost my bags. When I got home, I was tired, hungry, and frustrated that United couldn't give a damn that they couldn't find my bag. more

Best Pizza and steaks EVER!!! 2/22/2011

My husband and I are new to the area and we needed to find a local pizza shop and boy did we ever. We tried a few others in the area and they don't compare. The pizza is loaded with toppings and the steak fills the bun. We also tried their BBQ chicken steak and it was great. Real chunks of chicken. The staff is always so friendly when you walk in. They always greet you promptly and they always accomodate my picky eating habits. Try them you'll love it!!! more

it;s a good local joint. better than most of the other joints in the area (especially lima pizza, or anywhere in media) Pros: Decent pizza, nice staff. Cons: it isn't really.... remarkable. more

TERRIFIC FOOD & SERVICE! 5/22/2008

We order from Abruzzi all the time, and their food is consistently good. Plus they are always very nice and courteous. The only thing is I wish they had a large parking area, it can get tricky trying to get out of there during the dinner rush. But overall, we LOVE this place and will continue to order from them. Disagree with other review 3/28/2008

I visit the village of Valle San Giovanni (vallesangiovanni_dot_com) in the Abruzzo Region of Italy often and know that the food at Abruzzi Pizza is authentic and quite good. Sometimes people eating genuine Italian pizza are disappointed when the have the real thing. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed! Great for families and groups. more

Horrible Food! 10/26/2007

Our food was absolutely horrible! We ordered a small veggie pizza and a large Italian hoagie without oil. Once delivered, the pizza was thinner than the wax paper under it and I couldn't even lift it onto a plate. Also, it was very doughy and I think it wasn't cooked completely. The hoagie had so much oil on it that the oil was dripping out of it. When I called to complain, they offered to either re-make our food or give us credit. I said we'd take the credit because we made microwave meals since we really couldn't eat the food we ordered. She said that they could give us $4 credit, but that was all. $4 when our dinner cost $20?? They're ridiculous!!! We will NEVER order from there again and will tell everyone we know about our horrible experience!!! Pros: Close to home Cons: Horrible food, rood employees, not customer friendly more
