I have been a client of Doc Riley's for 30+ years total, and I dread the day he might ever retire. Doc is so compassionate and understanding with the animals as well as humans, and is extremely knowledgable and proficient. His staff are also very wonderful and helpful even to just call and ask a question or for advice. I live in an eastern suburb of Cleveland and don't hesitate to take the drive to North Royalton to see him. One of my babys passed away recently. I had taken him in to see Doc to ask his advice about whether we should ""help"" him through to the other side. After a thorough exam he did not hesitate to tell me that he did not think he was in any pain and as long as he seemed not in pain I should take him home, keep him comfortable, and let him ""go"" on his own, so I took him home and he passed peacefully on his own the next morning. Many other vets would have just taken the opportunity for a fee in this type of situation. We love you Doc - PLEASE don't ever retire!
