Orange Village Animal Hospital & Laser Surgery Center

I went to Orange village animal hospital for the first time for my cat who got sick very fast. I called that day for an appointment and they said I could come in so I thought that was good but I think now it is cause maybe no one goes there. When I first walked in, it smelled very bad like pee. There are a bunch of hamsters and other things when you walk in and they are dirty and smell. I feel bad for them. Some dont look healthy and one had blood on it. I wish I would left right then. I told the lady who I was and she said go to the room and wait a few minutes. the nurse checked my cat over and asked me questions about what happened. She seemed nice, but then I waited for about a half hour for the doctor to come in. I feel like it should have been faster cause she was so sick. There wasnt even any other people there. When the vet came in he looked at my cat too and didnt really do anything. I was trying to tell him what happened and he put the scope on her and told me to shhh in the middle of what I was saying. then when he was done didnt even let me finish and said to do bloodwork and he told me to go home with nothing and said he would call tomorrow for the blood didnt eat.. he said had to wait for the blood. The next day he didnt call so I did and left a message and then he didnt call me back. I called again the day after and he said her kidney was bad and to get special food. I got the food and she wouldnt eat it and was so sick still. I brought her again and asked about medicine and he I have to make her eat the food and he did a xray and said something was stuck in her stomach and had to get surgery. I was so sad to leave her and I wasnt allowed to stay. I called later and it wasnt done yet so she was just sitting there in a cage. Later I got a call and he told me she didnt make it and didnt know why. So now my cat is gone and I really dont even know why and it doesnt sound like he even cares. I wish I would have took her somewhere else because I had a bad feeling and then when I tell people about what happened they say they heard it is a bad place too. So I done even know what happened. on thursday night my cat baby dislocated her jaw. i took her down to metro in akron and they told me she required surgery which would cost over 2000$ and i am a full time student with no way to access that kind of money. and after some research i found orange village and they took such good care of her and only charged me 500 which is very considerably less than metro. it seemed metro was in it for the money and not the love and care and well being of the animals. which isnt that the reason people get into that field in the first place? i have nothing but good things to say about orange village animal hospital if you ever need them dont even hesitate to take your animal there that place is full of good loving people. Pros: finally a vet that is in it for the love of the animals Cons: nothing bad to say about them more
