Memories 12/30/2005

I have not been here in years, but I remember going to this place back when I went to school here. The store is just blocks away from Baruch College and they had a great selection back then. The employees there really put there heart into their work and were very knowledgeable about the comic universes. They also had a frequent purchase program there that was easy to achieve bonus bucks there. If the ownership is still the same this was a great place to go to between classes or just to get away from the office more

For Comic Fanatics 8/15/2005

Lots of interesting collectible finds in this store. It carries both new and old comics as well as figurines. A definite store for the young and old who is fanatic about comics. You can even trade/sell your copies if you want to. My little cousin loves going in to the store and picking up copies of Batman and Superman. Nice store to go in and browse through comics and dolls. more

Great little place 8/4/2005

It's an excellent store as you can find so many little trinkets. Their products range from cards to comics. It's very homey. Nothing is too pricey, so cost is not really an issue. There are a lot of quirky things like Simpson toys and different bobbleheads. You can spot the store when you see a huge Spiderman sitting near the window with its back towards you. Light, enjoyable atmosphere. more

Another favorite of my husband's 8/3/2005

When I worked on 23rd street he'd often spend a few hours (and a few bucks) browsing the shelves at this place. He'd return all giddy with excitement to show off his finds. They were reasonably priced and he was pleased with their selection. The only comic that he couldn't get there was the manga series PRIEST by TokyoPop - maybe they've since ordered it since he asked so many times. Anyways, I'd recommend this place to the avid comic connisseur. more

nice comic store 7/26/2005

Cosmic Comics has been around for many years. There store moved a while back to a much nicer space which is kept clean and well organized. The employees are very friendly one young lady who works there went on a long search for an obscure $2 comic for me. They have a bice assirtment of staues of comic characters as well as an excellent selection of older comics as well as all the new comics to. more

Comics Downtown 7/9/2005

An interesting mix of product here that seem to reflect the owner or managers personality. More adult comics than what you would find in the average comic store. Lots of Japanese comics as well as an excellent selection of all the new comics. they also have lots of back issues which all seems to be fairly priced. I've enjoyed my few visits to this shop and it's worth a visit. Then go across the street to Madison Sq. Park sit down on a bench relax get yourself somethin to eat from Shake Shack and enjoy life and read your new comics. more
