Incompetence at its worst.... 8/27/2011

Ordered a simple appetizer - when it FINALLY arrived - wrong appetizer. Ordered a 2nd time - waited forever - when it FINALLY arrrived - AGAIN - wrong appetizer. The other people in my party had finished eating, and since I wasn't in the city to spend my afternoon at Bubba Gumps - I didn't reorder a 3rd time. Manager asked what he could do to make it right - told him he could make accommodation on bill. He didn't even take off my diet coke - how cheap!!! Won't recommend and won't go back. more

Fun 4/23/2006

The Bubba Gump chain is strictly for fun. The food is decent, the theme is great. If you are a movie fan (and specifically a fan of Forrest Gump), you will enjoy this chain. There is a great view of Times Square and the staff are on top of being friendly. If you are stuck in Times Square and have a hankering for some shrimp, run Forrest run to Bubba Gump. I just love the little shrimp that is their mascot. They also have a gift shop. Don't come here is you don't have a sense of humor! more

One Time is Probably Enough 9/2/2005

Smack dab in the middle of Times Square, so I guess you can imagine what it's liked. Filled with tourists... and loud and semi-obnoxious tourists I might add. The food is ok... seems like everything is battered and fried. Waiters live to please. If you are seated by the windows, you will not get a better view of Times Square at any other restaurant. Good place for large groups and first time visitors, but it's not a place you'll frequent. more

Nice place to dine if you have the time 8/4/2005

Obviously the theme of this restaurant is the movie Forrest Gump. The place is usually packed and long waiting time but you won't be bored because you will find yourself starring at all those Forrest Gump stuff on the wall. Servers are friendly and the food is decent. It's a nice restaurant to bring the kids to. more

Bubba Gump Restaurant 6/28/2005

This is a pretty good place if you love to eat some seafood and shrimps. They focus mainly on shrimps and it tastes pretty good. Their prices are pretty decent but some are expensive because it does not come with enough food for you to eat. You might not get full after eating from this place but at least you will enjoy some of their great food. more
