I didn't realize how great the burgers here are, until I tried a couple other burger places, and realized how superior they really are.

This place is absolutely awful!!! I usually go to Big Mouth but I was kinda on a date & the guy I was with was craving a burger & I thought this place would have a little more hustle & bustle inside. I was wrong! It was about 9:00 PM on a Saturday & two other people were in there. Needless to say after we received our meals & I took my first bite I was definitely embarrassed for suggesting this place!! About halfway into our meal my date asked, ?What would you give this burger on a scale of 1-10?? I said a 2! He replies with, ?Ya, that sounds about right.? more

Worst Burgers in Town 10/8/2006

I went there with my girlfriend one night and we rdered 2 well done cheeseburgers. I took a bite of of the burger and it was soft and red in the middle. I then had them re cook the burger and it was the exact same. Red and bloody. I will never eat here again and would never reccomened this place to anyone. Cons: undercooked hamburgers more

You can't go wrong with $7 burger INCLUDING fries that taste fresh cut and not frozen like other places. Not much of a selection, but if you want a simple burger, you will be happy. Pick your cheese, maybe add bacon, and enjoy! They may have a chicken sandwhich, and possibly a garden burger. You will not be disappointed! Only negative is the lack of street parking, which is true for all of Valencia! Enjoy! Pros: Great burger, Value Cons: Parking more

Excellent Burger, Fast, Cheap 4/14/2005

Burgers are simple, juicy, and prepared fresh. Try the milkshakes, which are thick and perfectly complement the chuck and fresh fries. Retro-design is cute. Lots of tables. Good for kids and groups. Pros: Good Burgers, Lots of space, Good for Families Cons: Cheesy Atmosphere more

Absoultely delicious burgers and always courteous service. Ambiance takes you back to the old joints of the 50s -- I think, I wasn't born then, but that's the feeling I get. Very clean. more

$4.50 for a shake 1/8/2003

Pretty good burger (generic), good fries, good price. Typical low budge diner feel to the place. $2 shake costs $4.50. not ok. more

Great Burger & Fries 12/18/2002

This review is for the Burger Joint on Haight Street. The cheddar cheese burger was fantastic as were the fries. Toppings inclued mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles. The burger is a generous size as were the fries. The menu is limted, but who cares when the burger and fries are the best. The dining area is large and comfortable, a throw back to the 1950 motif with neon and booths. more

The burgers were like cardboard and the tables were sticky. The fries had no taste. I wouldn't spend a dime here. My dining partner and I were very disappointed in our meal. more

i found it very modern, comfortable, and specially love the burgers. friendly and smiling faces of staff and people; unprejudice of gender, or ethnicity. i met with friends, french tutor and i always felt well there. merci mille fois, million thanks, gracias! Their burgers are the best quality you can look for in hamburger meat. The price is fair for the quality that you're paying for. You'll feel like you're eating an gourmet burger once you take a bite! more

Everytime I go to Burger Joint my mouth starts watering right before I get there. They have the most amazing burgers in town, but you have to go all out- fries, shakes- the whole deal! The prices are so reasonable, I will go to Burger Joint whever I am craving a fabulous burger- must go there!! more

REAL MEAT is off the hook 7/22/2002

Burger Joint has the best burger in town for a lot of reasons. it has organic meat! Which means that no cheicals or hormones are involved in the processing of of it meat. Eating on organic grass?? Maybe not not but it tastes a whole lot better then the mediciny tasting burgers from non-organic places. If i have a chose I take my money to Burger joint the environment is a perfect fit. more
