Today I visited Burger King in Forest City, NC for the first time since back in the summer. I remember now why it had been so long! I took my grand-baby there for a quick lunch. At only 15 months old I knew she could eat chicken fries and french fries. It was only 11:30am so I knew we would beat the lunch crowd. Sure enough there were only two ladies ahead of us and they ordered and paid together. After they got their order,Emmie and I stood at the counter for a total of Seven(7) minutes before anyone asked me what I had ordered. When I finally got my order it was not what I had ordered, but for fear of never getting any food I just kept it. I got cheesy tots instead of Chicken fries, not even chicken nuggets!! During the course of our meal we sat toward the front away from the smoking section. I saw two ladies come in and stand behind the register for several minutes without being acknowledged, they left without ever ordering. A second lady came in who had gone through the drive thru to exchange her order because it was wrong. No one apologized to her,or even spoke to her, just handed her her corrected order, NO SMILE,NO APOLOGY,NO NOTHING but BAD service!! I donot hold Fast Food Restaraunts to the same standard as high end ones, but lets face it COMMON COURTESY is for every where! I will not be back to buger king in Forest CIty again! Cons: worst service, long waits, orders wrong more

  • In Short
Founded in 1954, this ultracasual eatery (often with a drive-through) made its name with hamburgers cooked over flames and finished with the customer's choice of toppings. The signature sandwich has always been the Whopper, a quarter-pound burger with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and onions. The menu also features fish fillets and spicy chicken sandwiches, garden salads with fire-grilled shrimp and chicken, the breakfast "Croissan'wich," crispy onion rings and even veggie burgers.
