My wife and I were in Fairview, and needed to find somewhere to eat. We went to Bumpers, and it was beautiful when we entered, with the gorgeous fish tanks. We told the guy who sat us, who we later found out was the manager, that it was our first time there. He told us all about how fresh their meat is, and when my wife mentioned that I am a vegetarian, instead of telling me about some good vegetarian options on their menu, he just said, ""Well I'm sure that she knows some people who aren't vegetarians.""! He took our order. I ordered the small size of my meal. I selected one of the add-ons, which was sauteed mushrooms. When my food came, there were no mushrooms. I just wanted to eat and get going from that stuffy atmosphere, so I didn't mention that the mushrooms were missing, Food was average. When the bill came, I saw that they had charged me for the large size of my meal, when I had ordered the small. Our waiter said that the manager had put the wrong size order in, and the waiter hadn't known about it. He checked with the manager about the pricing issue. The manager didn't even come out himself to apologize. Instead he sent the waiter back out to tell us that the manager said to still charge us for the large meal since that is what I had eaten. (It was only an average-size meal anyway.) I couldn't believe it! And then the waiter said that that is what happens when managers take orders, they always mess them up! We left and stopped at the strip mall a block away at a delightful coffee shop for coffee and dessert.
