A good family restaurant but not truly worthy of being classified as as steak house by my standards. The kids should love it, so if you are a family person then try it. Tony

At their new restaurant in Shrewsbury, it is just like Canada. I mean it's freezing in there! The food was ok. Nothing to write home about, but not awful either. Price was moderate. A better choice is a Picadilly Pub. Lower prices, and usually, better food. Pros: Good for kids, neat atmosphere Cons: cold inside, cold vege's more

Easily THE WORST Steak House 1/9/2003

I learn from experience. This is one time I learned from others, when they told me Bugaboo Creek is not worth the trip (or the thought). Nothing unique about this place except for its animated objects. So that leaves us with being able to compare everything on the menu to other eating establishments. And it didn't. Neither did the service. Waitstaff was not knowledgeable about the menu nor the bar. A place only parents could endure for the sake of entertaining their kids w/talking animals. I love caesar salad and this place serves one of the best that I have had! The ambiance is nice, not too brightly lit, and the food is simple and filling. Pros: parking Cons: waiting time, crowded waiting more

Disappoint Reigns supreme 12/19/2002

I can only say that I was totally disappointed when I went to Bugaboo Creek. The food was NOT tasty at all and the meat was overdone -- even though I asked for Medium Rare! Tried it a couple of times, same thing. Won't go back. more

I'm a very picky person when it comes to eating out. When I find something good I stick to it, and I think if my fiancee didn't love Bugaboo as much as I do he'd be as sick of it as you could ever get! Working at a 4 diamond, 4 star hotel/restaurant helps to add to my pickyness, I know food, and I know good, quality food and service. If anything is it, Bugaboo is it. I know it's nothing fancy, but it is a wonderful place for family and friends to have a good meal that leaves you full, but still aching for more! Good Times certain nights 12/4/2002

Good Times, especially for the kiddies hen the Disney World type characters start talking and the fish tails are flapping. Steaks are fair to really good it depends on the night, Mid week with less of a crowd the food is more pleasing. Be patient with the waitstaff some seem as if they are on thier first Waitstaff job. I am new to New England and Bugaboo was the first restaurant I visited. Definitely comparable to Outback, my favorite steak place back in CA !!! I highly recommend it ! more

steak to die for 10/7/2002

if you like rustic settings this is the place for you the ambience is excellent but the food is better. to date i've had most of thier dishes and all were beyond my expectations. I will continue to be a customer of thiers for a long time more
