Buffalo Grove Theatres

I was not happy with my experience at this theater. I do not recommend it to anyone. The minute I stepped into the theater, I wanted to step right back out. The seating is terrible - believe me it's nothing like normal movie theaters. The atmosphere is also bad - they have guys dressed in black outfits who spy on you during the movie so if you bring outside food to the theater then they take it away. I realize that there is a policy to not bring any outside food into the theater but the way they do it makes you feel like your not in a free country. I didn't have any outside food with me but I just had a sick feeling sitting in that place. The employees are also rude - it's the way they say things. They aren't polite. Just because it's cheaper than other movie theaters doesn't give them the right to treat customers in a rude manner. They need to learn some customer service skills. I have read several other reviews that mention the rude employees , management and uncleanliness of this place. I can't tell you enough to stay away from this place. I will NEVER go back. more

Keep the second run theaters alive by supporting them. So what if the movies are a couple of months old, that is still fairly new. The prices here are the lowest around. It's not that beautiful of a place but if you are taking a bunch of kids you can really save money by going here especially if you go on a Tuesday. more

Great little theater located on Old McHenry road. Tickets are incredibly cheap — only two dollars every day and one dollar on Tuesdays. The movies being shown there are usually a month or two old, but I don’t think that presents a problem. After all, if you missed a blockbuster you really wanted to see when it first came out, or just didn’t feel like paying seven to nine dollars for it, you can always catch up on what you missed here. more

The tickets in this theatre are only $2. There are five small movie halls. Movies that you don't want to spend $8 and watch you can see it here. This is a second run theatre ... so you can see the movies couple of months after release here. The price of admission is only $1 on Thursdays. more

This is a great theatre. It's not the cleanest but if you want to watch a chep movie, this is the place to go. Shows are $2 everyday and $1 on Tuesdays. They are usually showing 5 or 6 movies. Great place for cheap entertainment! more
