The Trail
Turn left from CR 345 onto the 4-wheel drive road (marked FDR/CR 345.2). Follow the signs to the Colorado Trail and turn left. Expect a few sharp turns, a water bar and short, steep sections that require dismounting.
The View
The high point is within a half-mile after first intersecting the Colorado Trail. The singletrack ends shortly after passing a trail register box on the right. Turn left, staying on the Colorado Trail for slightly over a mile to Frontier Ranch Stables. Continue east on CR 322, leaving the Colorado Trail in 0.6 miles, and intersect CR 321 (paved) in another 0.3 miles. Turn left (north) onto CR 321, which intersects CR 306 in approximately seven miles. Take CR 306 back to the starting point.
