  • Dick Brubaker founded Brubaker s Sewing Center in 1934 and built the business primarily in the sales and service of Pfaff Sewing Machines. In 1999 Glenn and Amy Smith purchased the business and expanded the store to become a Full Service Destination Store, offering multiple lines of sewing machines, expanded selection of sewing and embroidery supplies, sewing, embroidery and quilting classes and finally, a service department not only dedicated to repair of household sewing machines, but also to the preservation and refurbishment of vintage machines, particularly vintage Pfaff machines. This expansion has proven to be a successful model as Glenn and Amy have grown this business to be one of the largest on the east coast. With a focus on complete customer satisfaction, folks will travel for miles to shop at Brubaker s who have enjoyed a loyal following because of their dedication to the trade. Brubaker s has a toll free number and will offer phone support to their customers. They have often been told that they offer better long distance support than they could receive from their local establishments! If a customer purchases a sewing machine, overlock or embroidery machine from Brubaker s they usually become a customer for life!. PFAFF,Janome,Brother Sewing Machine & Embroidery Machines.
