Needs Work 8/11/2005

This is where I attended school but would have preferred somewhere else if I had the choice but we didn't have money to pay for somewhere private or out of the area. The teachers for the most part were great, some acted the same age as the students, but the building needs a ton of work. Also the district didn't have much money so we didn't have books for the majority of the classes and it was hard for teachers to make copies of anything because of paying for the paper. Overall I wouldn't send my children there. more

Brownsville Area School District is an O.K. school district, but is not very organized, and does not control the kids who attend there very well. I have known many people who have attended there, and who's children have attended there and they all say that Brownsville is not the best school district, but they do have some good teachers. I would not want my kids going to this school because of the kind of decisions the staff there makes about there school, and the children who go to there school. more
