Texas Real Estate Commission Disciplinary Action 12/2/2009

I hired Amber Michelle Brown (Broker) along with Bel Air Realty Group (Corporation Broker) – aka Eleaseproperties – and Jonathan Jason Brown (Salesperson) to manage my property for more than a year and a half. Due to her conduct, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) took the following disciplinary action against Amber Brown. The Texas Real Estate Commission’s (TREC) Official Order is a matter of public record and has already been published in their November 2009 TRECAdvisor newsletter (page 8) and on their official website (www.trec.state.tx.us/complaintsconsumer/DiscipActionResults.asp?inLicno=426203):\r \r Order Description - Agreed reprimand of Amber Michelle Brown’s broker license, entered October 19, 2009; Agreed administrative penalty of $2,000, entered October 19, 2009.\r \r Basis for this Order - Engaging in conduct that constituted withholding from or inserting into a statement of account or invoice a statement that the license holder knew made the statement of the account or invoice inaccurate in a material way, specifically by charging a property owner for the filing of an eviction lawsuit when, in fact, such eviction did not occur, in violation of §1101.652(b)(24) of the Texas Occupations Code; engaging in conduct that constituted dishonest dealings, bad faith or untrustworthiness in charging a property owner for the filing of an eviction lawsuit, when such eviction failed to occur, authorizing repairs without the property owner's authorization, and posting disparaging remarks in the MLS about a property owner, in violation of §1101.652(b)(2) of the Texas Occupations Code\r Cons: Everything more

Watchout 8/11/2009

These guys took three months to clean up after a tree fell in the backyard with a tree(rot) on verge of falling down in the backyard. Also they try to assess late fees on the premise that they did not receive the rent. Happened twice to me. No I do an auto bill pay from bank. Better yet ask them send a receipt back Cons: Disorganized, late response to emergencies, late fee scams more
