My first experience at The Broadway Theatre was in November for Peter Pan. The theatre is beautiful and the people were very polite and curteous. As far as the show goes it was delightful, entertaining and magical. The cast was wonderful but the role of Peter Pan and Captain Hook were exceptional. My husband and I went to opening and closing and even took friends with us...they also enjoyed the theatre and the production. All in all thirty five of us attended and not one of us was displeased. It was evident that the cast and director had spent hours on rehersal as it was perfect....it was delightful...it was outstanding. I was suprised to read some negative reviews and in answer to that all I can say is you must not have seen Peter Pan. Please remember when leaving a nasty comment that these actors and actresses try their very best and many hours go into the rehersals and the production itself. With everything in life there are going to be things that you like and dislike but after one try to write something without at least giving the theatre another try to redeem itself is darn right ridiculous and foolish. I, as well as my friends, are new to this theatre but think it is definitely a place to go for an enjoyable experience....remember not all shows will please everyone everytime because everyone has different tastes. Looking at their upcoming shows I am excited. I just recently took my grand daughter to a childrens production and after going to other theatres for their childrens production, i would rate them much above the others....the others tend to really play down to the children to the point of ridiculousness and sillyness....these characters made it enjoyable for both the child and the parents who also have to sit throgh the production....hats off to childrens theatre. Again, remember opinions, everyone has one, but come out and decide for yourself. Hats off to my first experience at The Broadway to the wonderfully delightful cast of Peter Pan....I would go every year to see this show...you left singing I won't grow up and had a bounce in my step....A+A+A+A+A+......also we had a wonderful dining experience at Sweet Lula""s....cozy and comfort food...hats off to owner and chef!
Pros: wonderful cast!!!!
Cons: that this show cannot be done every year at the holidays
