Great for beginners! 8/26/2012

I'm giving it 3 starts because it is what it is. No golf T times required. Great for the beginner. They don't charge a lot. Ok, ok, the greens are slow, and the fairways are for the most part wide open, and it's true, sometimes I feel like I should wear a hard hat for my own protection when I play here, but the folks that run it are nice, if not a little overly cautious (those kids can't drive the golf cart sir, "yes I know".) but come on, where else can you "decide" to play golf and preto, you're out there playing with no advance notice. It's a fun place, and kids are welcome! more

Raleigh's Premeir Golf Course

Owner Message
  • Opened in 1996, Brevofield Golf Links is a family-owned course conveniently located on 13601 Camp Kanata Road in Wake Forest , which is west of Wake Forest and north of Raleigh .

Brevofield features Crenshaw bent grass greens that are large and well-cushioned with undulation kept to a minimum, allowing for a very true roll at a birdie putt. Without the clutter of homes all over the course, the Bermuda fairways are wide open and forgiving to the average golfer. At Brevofield you'll find a variety of holes including some relatively short par 4s that dare you to go for the green with your driver.
