This lady only cares about her bottom line and nothing else matters to her, including the best interest of the children she is supposed to be helping and making decisions about. Shelley was our court appointed Child and Family Investigator and nearly ruined my daughter's life and since my daughter saw her and she made her recommendations, my poor child is depressed, upset, has been seriously acting out and is unwilling to trust any other ""psycologist"" as she fears the same thing would happen again and words would be put in her mouth that she never said. Shelley made it clear from day 1 who she favored (the person who could pay her more) and although I had a lot of evidence of abuse from my ex-husband she insisted I was the abusive one. She twisted our words, put words in my child's mouth, made false assumptions and insisted I was lying when I had proof (including police reports and court records) to prove I was telling the truth. She played right into my ex-husbands narcissistic ways and even threatened to take my child away from me if I moved more than 15 min away from my ex. My ex is still emotionally and verbally abusing me and my daughter and I beleive he is physically abusing my daughter but Shelley would not even hear it and refused to speak with my chld about it, even though my child says she tried to tell her. It is nearly impossible to schedule appts with this lady and she expects you to drop everything at a moments notice and rush right down to her if she happens to have a cancellation, otherwise you may have to wait weeks or in one instance over 6 weeks to get an appt with her. My court case lasted for over 2 years as this lady took her sweet time scheduling appts, making arbitrary decisions and writing her report. Then when she gives you a price, she ends up charging you much much more. If you care about your children, unless you have big bucks to pay her off I would keep them FAR away from this lady!!!
