WORST SERVICE EVER! The staff at Brambleton Veterinary Hospital are a nightmare. They don't care about your pet or you. All they care about is your money! Seriously, DO NOT take your pet(s) to this place. I am begging you, please don't. You will highly regret it. This place needs to be shut down! more

Dr. Jennings and her staff are the best! My name is Sydney and I have been coming to Brambleton Vet. since I was 6 months old - 8 years now. My brother Samson has been coming to Dr. Jennings since he was 6 months old also - 11 years now. Our parents only want the best for us. She has taken very good care of us. Her staff is very friendly and even puts the cats away when we come in cause they know my mom is afraid of cats. We are Bichon Frise dogs. I am an extra long one at that. Dr. Jennings called me her limo when I was younger. Well, my extra long back has caused me some problems and Dr. Jennings not only made me feel better, but was also caring enough to send me to VA Tech, and to an accupuncturist (sp). This really helped because for the last couple of years, I have been able to run, play with my brother, chase after squirrels, and do other things that a normal dog my age would do. But about 3 weeks ago, my mom came home and she noticed that I was hardly able to walk. She immediately called Dr. Jennings office. They were about ready to close and Dr. Jennings had left for the day. The staff wisely called Dr. Jennings at home and Dr. Jennigs, knowing my history, told them to have my mom take me to VA Tech for emergency care. She was so right, as VA Tech did emergency surgery on me that evening (10:00 p.m.). I had a herniated disc and something else wrong that I don't know how to spell or say. I was in the hospital for 5 days. I am now under Dr. Jennings care for recovery. She has been so good to me. For the first almost week after coming home, I was unable to pee, whoops, empty my bladder and Dr. Jennings and her staff helped me every day. Even though Dr. Jennings does not work on Sunday, she even came in on Sunday to help me. She wanted to make sure I did not get an infection or anything. She has always been caring and compassonate with me, my brother and late adopted mother Sophie. Dr. Jennings, I love you. YOU ARE THE BEST! Sydney more

very caring with my cat! 8/19/2011

I really appreciate the care and concern this staff has for my cat. Dr. Jennings calls me and discusses everything with me and also answers my questions. I appreciate that she makes sure that I understand. I have never had a bad incident there. more

Save your pet don't go here!!!! 11/23/2010

This is one of the most horrible places to take your animal. I have seen things happen to your pets that you will never know about. For example I have seen a dog choked while getting his nails cut, to the point where he started frothing at the mouth and a vet had to administer a shot. The person that did this was not fired. There are some good workers there, but too many bad to be safe and the vet dr.jennings is awfully rude. She seems to be a very self absorbed person who in my opinion should not be a veterinarian. Our animals are our children (most of us anyway!) and we are there protectors. Why risk it, if something happens you may not even know or it may be too late. Take your animal to a better place and have peace of mind!!! more

Brambleton vet 10/9/2010

i have been bringing my 3 dogs to this vet for the past 2 years. I wouldnt say they are all bad. I have had some good experiences and some not so good. The first bad experience was when i brought my new Siberian Husky in because he had horrible shedding. He was loosing hid fur like crazy he had bald spots on his hind legs. I was very concerned b/c i could pull the hair out in large clumps. I took him in and the Dr. said she was concerned too and drew some blood for lab tests. She didnt know what it was. All the lab work came back fine and she said she had no idea why he was loosing so much of his fur. I decided to research online about it and found MANY MANY other siberian husky's with the exact same issue and that it is simply part of the breed and is very common. They ""blow their coats"" twice a year. Well, i spent a lot of money trying to figure out what was wrong with him and nothing was wrong. I would expect that a professional Vet would know this COMMON information about this breed. The second time I had my 3 dogs boarded for 1 week. I asked that they TRIM up my golden chow. when i picked him up he had been SHAVED down to his skin with only hair on his head and tail and he had a wound on his underside from the clippers that got infected. I was furious and have not brought them back since. I would also like to say i have had some very good service their also but i think these 2 problems were big enough to sour my opinion of the vet. more

Great care for our dog 3/14/2010

My husband and I love Brambleton Veterinary Hospital. We have always received great care for our 2 year old lab there. We never hesitate to call with a question and frequently get good advice over the phone- without ever having to bring our dog in to be seen. The doctors and staff are friendly and helpful... we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else! more

Very nice vet clinic 1/18/2010

Dr. Jennings primarily takes care of my two dogs, Sam and Grace. I have also brought them in to see the others vets in the practice, and they are good, too. Dr. Jennings seems to really care about my dogs, which makes a huge difference to me as a customer. \r \r Also, when you call they answer any questions they can answer when you are debating bringing the pup in or not. In some cases, I don't have the money to bring the dogs in every time they throw up. So they help you decide if you should really be concerned or not. \r \r I also had trouble housebreaking Grace, and they helped with good information resources. Pros: Vet actually cares about my dog Cons: Would love better parking area more

I would review this hospital carefully 12/9/2009

I had a dog and a cat grow tumors at vaccination injection sights. \r \r The dog had been clipped. When I brought him home, I noticed a golf ball sized growth under his skin on his right-side hind leg. It was very noticable and no one at the hospital had offered to look at it or call me before I picked him up to see if I wanted a biopsy. When I brought him back in, I scheduled a biopsy but he passed away before the appointment. \r \r The cat had the same issue on his right-side hind leg and had the leg amputated by the hospital. They did not get all of the cancer and it was very aggressive. He passed away four months later. \r \r When I asked about the two cases possibly being related and how I could avoid it in the future, Dr. Jennings replied, ""It is very commn for animals to get cancer at vaccination injection sights."" My family has owned animals as long as I have been alive and have always brought our animals to get vaccinations in veterinary hospitals in New England and NEVER had this situation happen. Who supplies the vaccinations for this hospital? Don't you think that if this is a common occurrance that the veterinarians would look for another supplier? \r \r This does not make any sense to me. Seek a second opinion before using this hospital's services. Pros: Fast appointments Cons: Not very conscientious more

BEST VETERINARY HOPITAL 10/12/2009

This place is the best. Most of the people posting negative comments probably either got fired or couldn't pay their bill. Dr. Jennings is the most loving vet, she saved my dog and even took him home with her overnight I think she just doesn't put up with deadbeats- both employees and clients. as far as I am concerned that means my pet gets 100 percent. wouldn't go anywhere else. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing at all more

DR. JENNINGS AND BVH 10/11/2009

\r I can only say wonderful positive things about Dr. Jennings and her staff @ Brambleton Vet Hospital. I have known Dr. Jennings since she graduated from VT and we had the pleasure of taking our ""fur baby"" Mia to her for 17 YEARS. Our baby passed last April and we miss her beyond words. I can truthfully say Dr. Jennings was the reason we were able to have her in our lives for those wonderful precious 17 years. She is a caring wonderful person and will give your pet expert care! Don't listen to some people who just didn't want to pay their bills and thought they could get by with it. They had to take their hatred out on someone! Take it from someone who knows how they treat animals and who would never take another animal to anyone else but Brambleton Veteran Hospital. Pros: WONDERFUL DOCTORS AND STAFF more

WARNING: Do not use this clinic! 9/2/2009

BEWARE! Do not take your dog to Brambleton Veterinary Hospital, especially to Dr. Linda Jennings, who has the worst bedside manner you have ever seen. Her staff isn't much better and, in fact, is not knowledgable about joint dislocations and post-op care. \r \r This hospital almost cost my dog his leg by wrapping it too tight after surgery and cutting off his circulation. \r \r After bringing him home, I discovered his toes turning purple. I called -- and they told me to bring him in right away, he could lose his leg if I waited -- they charged me (overtime charges!) to re-wrap his leg. \r \r When I asked for an explanation about the charges, Dr Jennings was immediately defensive, rude, and belligerent, claiming it wasn't her fault. Then, she tried to convince me I should be grateful that she re-wrapped his leg (but not admitting it was due to her staff's inexperience and error). \r \r I paid the bill, because they refused to release my dog until I had, but I will NEVER go back. \r \r I found another vet for his follow-up care, Big Lick Vet. They are wonderful and so kind. Pros: None whatsoever Cons: Inexperienced care, terrible customer svc, rough handling more

Worst ever 8/8/2009

Dr. Jennings is about like her father. A complete A_s with people. (Her father is a Dr. also.) She doesn't know how to talk to customers and her Vet care is lacking. She charges for things you don't asked for and then does not want to take it off your bill. This place is very unprofesional. Avoid in you can. Pros: Close to my house Cons: Poor care more

HORRIBLE! 4/1/2009

.... Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

Awful and scary -- don't go near this place 3/16/2009

Just avoid this place. Really. They're more concerned about money than about your animals, and it shows. If you call to see a vet, you'll get right in because word has spread about how bad it is. The waiting room is empty for a reason!!! Cons: Unfriendly staff, poor treatment more

Best vet ever 3/4/2008

Do not listen to what that person said he was just mad because he couldn't pay for it. Dr. Jennings will never call someone's job to get them fired. I've known her for several years and she is the nicest and kindest person you will ever meet. She is one of the best vets. I ever known. Pros: veterinary service, very friendly, service in general Cons: parking more
