Bradley University

Bradley University is really an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to come to a University. Its size of 5k undergraduate is perfect -- opportunity to be a leader of an organization, while still walking around campus and seeing plenty of people you don't recognize! The school provides plenty of opportunities, networking connections, and great courses. Also, the University is progressive -- new Markin Recreation center just opened and it is breathtaking. New arena coming soon, as well as an Engineering/Business Convergence Center (I wish I was going to be here when that exists!!) Overall, excellent institution with an excellent future ahead of itself! more

Bradley is a pretty good academic school, they are mostly well-known in the midwest for their engineering program (Peoria is home to Caterpillar World HQ), but it would be infinitely better if it wasn't in Peoria. Wow, that town is definitely what you would call an "armpit". The "nice" part of town was the east side, and that was just a glorified strip mall suburbia... Back to Bradley though, it was good because the undergrad program had about 6k people overall, so class sizes were small and the professors were pretty accessible. If you like a small liberal arts private institution, it may be good for you, just make sure you are willing to live in central Illinois (know what you are getting youself into...U of I is only 1 hour east and has a lot more going on) more
