No fine dining ... 2/1/2009

My husband and I went there for our aniversary since we had had our wedding at their prem. We explaing the occasion to our waitress and hoped to have a good experience despite all the bad reveiws....well that was not the case: we got seated and could pick our table form the empty dining room on a Friday night. I explained to our waitress that I am very picky when it comes to seafood and that I would appreciate her honest input. She told me the Scallops were Braddock's speacilaty for years and that they are excellent. So i ordered scallops per the recommandation.\r After I took my first bite I crunched into sand...so were the following . I left most of my meal untouched . We complained to our waitress. she disapread. No one showed up for a while accept the bill 20 minutes later with our waitress. the meal was fully charged and no management showed up nor was a offered another option to order for my meal.\r I had to ask our waitress if she talked to her management. She told us yes and that the Chef is looking into it. What kind of explaintion is this?? Even if we spend a fraction of our $114 bill anywhere else we do at leat get a appology from the manager or asked if a diffrent meal can be prepared... this is far form fine dining and I will not recomand this place.\r Pros: poor customer service and avarage food quality for the price that is charged Cons: n/a more
