Box Seats

on 01/30/09......................Ok we are USUALLY very happy with the visits to Box Seats. Not so much this time. First the Band SUCKED!!!The lady could not sing, They just could not carry a decent tune. Then there was a bunch of drunk 20 year old males being way to friendly with the ladies and bouncers did nothing to stop them even though ladies were getting extremely upset visually. The loaded nachos shrank to half the size that they were about six monthes ago yet still an expensive 8.99 for a dixie sized plate full, which is next to nothing for the price of $8.99 . I am not sure if we will be going back there anytime soon. Just way to overbaord with the issue's there at this time and no control, I truelly was shocked and not in a good way! The waitress was nice though! Little ms. nurse, you know who you are too! Thank you for the decent service! you were the high point of a not so good night there!Sorry guys it is bad when the audience applaudes the band finaly finishing the song. My ears are still ringing from the tone deaf singing. Geesh. Bring back 2timen and Mint Juliep!! Now They rocked!! more

This place is a blast. On Friday and Saturday nights they have various bands and they are really good usually. The meals are extremely reasonable as well as tasty! Our family and friends go there quite frequenty with no issue's. The staff is helpful and respecful! For the ones that insinuate that this is a lower class hang out you are not in Ponta Vedra! Not that they are any better than us! We know what a hard earned dollar is worth. Box seats is the perfect hang out for EVERYONE working or rich! If you like wrestling and like to enjoy a drink or two. This is the place to go. I do see kids in their every once in a while, but I would not ever bring mine to any place that has a bar fill to it. They always have the pay per views there. So if you can't afford the charges for PPV or just don't want to watch it by yourself this would be a great place to go. Oh and the food is good too. more

Casual, come as you are sports bar. More of a blue collar sort of bar. Large screen televisions, wings and beer. And they have a daily lunch special that is very popular: Usually something like pork chops or meatloaf. They do have an outdoor deck and darts. Crowded on Jaguar game days. Priced reasonably. more
