Nice family fun 11/12/2005

When I go out to visit family in East Greenbush we usually take at least one night to go bowling. Our place of chocie is Bowling Green. They have lots of activities and offer special events for the kids, like birthday parties, midnight bowling, rock N Bowl and bumper bowling for the little ones. The prices have gone up over the years, but not outrageously. more

Bowling Green TNT 8/20/2005

Bowling Green has been around for generations and is still going strong. We've signed up for parent -child bowling, and after school bowling and just gone for fun over the years. They have all the tried and true activities - kid's birthday parties, midnight bowling, bumper bowling, leagues. There's a snack bar as well. more

Find another alley! 8/10/2005

I used to have a great review here - but since then have been to visit Bowling Green to take my kids bowling - and it was TERRIBLE! They have changed their whole price structure, and can't even figure it out themselves. Basically - it costs 40 cents every time you ROLL THE BALL! My kids are 4 and 2 - and don't really "bowl" - we just went for something fun to do - and the previous managers were always so nice and only charged a few bucks to bowl a game. We will not be going back there again. more

Bowling Green- great for parties or open bowling 7/18/2005

Bowling Green is a great place for Birthday parties for boys or girls. We recently had 10 kids there for a bday party and the price is pretty reasonable and they got pizza, soda, and bowling. We brought the cake in. They bumper bowled and even put the black lights and music on for the kids so it was a disco party for them- they had a blast. It was nice to not have to worry about cleaning the mess at your home. The Bowling alley was pretty clean and the food was not bad from the snack bar, prices were reasonable. I would suggest bowling green for ages 4 and up! more
