Bad service?Good Service? 1/31/2009

Well let me preface this by saying, I am NOT one to write reviews. However, I only thought it fair to express my opinion as so many others have done. After reading the reviews about this boutique I went in for the first time two weeks ago, aphrehensivley I might add. All the negative comments made me have a negative attitude towards the store from the get-go. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I walked over to the jeans section and proceeded to look around. A sales associate immediatley came over to me and asked if she could help with anything or if I was looking for specific jeans. She also pointed out all their brands and where I could find the petite sizes. Needless to say I was impressed thus far, especially after reading all the negativity. I tried on a few pairs of jeans, and was asked ""how things were going"" by the associate who also said ""let me know if you need different sizes"". I say GO TO THE STORE and make you own judgement. Its a really fun store with lots of pretty clothing and jeans. I will be returning to this store in the near future because honestley they have FAB stuff....albeit expensive; but it is after all bouique bella, what do you expect? Uniqueness has a price. Ciao for now. Pros: Tons of Jeans to chose from Cons: Pricey more

worst owners 10/25/2008

Forget sales girls and over priced jeans that you can get anywhere now in town, I think the owners of this shop are rude, wannabes and lazy. That is enough for me in this economy to boycot a shop and tell ALL my friends. And lets be honest, an ape could go to market and pick better clothes. They will be out of business in a year. Pros: Laughable, tacky decore! It looks like a hore house in there! Cons: Owners, bad taste in clothes, don't waste your time. more

True Religion Jeans Are Knock Offs 10/22/2008

I have been buying True Religion Jeans for a long time at Nordstroms. I have never had a problem with them ripping. I bought a pair at Bella and paid almost $200 and they ripped within a month. I had only worn them 3 times. I had them fixed and they ripped in another place. I told a musician friend of mine and he said that's because they are knockoffs--don't ever buy the jeans there. Cons: Fake Jeans more

poor service indeed. 5/13/2008

In a nutshell, this boutique is highly overpriced and the staff is unavailable. My friend and I went in and we were not greeted, not spoken to the entire time we were there or when leaving. Actually, I said, ""thank you for coming in"" as we left because I was so frustrated. If you've ever seen the movie, ""Pretty Woman"" where more

Great clothes, poor customer service 12/20/2007

Boutique Bella is a staple in the women's clothing stores in Nashville. They always have a great jean selection and really cute sweaters and dresses. However, the prices are pretty ridiculously over-priced (a Velvet plain black t-shirt for $70 before tax). On the other hand, you can live with the prices since the clothes are so cute, but you CANNOT live with the customer service. I have frequented this store many times, and each and every time I do, the salesgirls continue chatting to each other, stay behind the counter fiddling on the computer, are in the backroom somewhere, and many times don't even acknowledge that you've walked into their store. Overall, great clothes, but the salesgirls could use an attitude adjustment. Pros: jean selection, cute dressses Cons: customer service more

Great service, unbelievable selection of jeans 6/21/2007

I think Bella is a Nashville jewel. I don't know how I would ever find a great pair of jeans that fit. I just went recently looking for a very specific look/fit (quite a tall order I promise), and the girls there brought me a couple of stacks of jeans to try based on my request. Two pairs were both great (and brands I don't typically wear!). They ended up helping me to decide between the 2 based on the best fit. It was a great experience and huge time-saver. I probably would have tried on over 100 pairs of jeans without their help. I highly recommend Boutique Bella if you're looking for that perfect pair of jeans (or anything else for that matter). I ended leaving with a shirt (on sale for a great price) and a dress as well! Also, I am not a Vandy student (34 year old Mom), and I was dressed very casually in jeans and tennis shoes, but as soon as I started grabbing jeans, an employee came up to offer to start my room. Check it out for yourself! Pros: Great clothes/service Cons: Expensive--but to be expected with designer clothes! more

Excellent customer service 4/16/2007

I usually don't really pay attention to what is posted on here, but I couldn't help but read and be appalled at what is being said about the store. I have lived in Nashville most of my life and have yet to find a place that has as good of a selection as Bella. As far as the customer service, every time I have been in there the girls have been nothing but helpful and honest in their opinions. When I go shopping, I don't like sales people to be on top of me trying to sell me things or offer to help every minute. That comes across to me as simply wanting the commission instead of being genuinely helpful when asked. I have left a store before because the sales reps have been too pushy. Most people are capable of shopping for themselves, asking for help, and don't tolerate the annoyance of pushy sales reps. If that's what you are looking for, shop at The Buckle. All in all, I love Boutique Bella, and like someone mentioned before, check the store out for yourself instead of relying on these rude posts. Pros: best store around Cons: small parking lot more

You'll hate yourself if you go 4/16/2007

If you walk into Boutique Bella dressed like a Vandy girl, you may get good service. I never have. I occasionally shop at Boutique Bella because they carry a good selection of the brands I like to wear. When I go there to shop, I am usually in casual clothes, and the staff could not be any more disdainful or less helpful. On my last visit, a week ago, I carried an armload of items around with me while three shop girls stood idly by. After about 20 minutes, one finally (and grudgingly) offered to start a dressing room for me. They are so rude that I have no intention of returning; as another shopper said, I'll just order online. more

good selection, bad environment 4/11/2007

Although I must say the selection was great, and most sizes were available, the service was defiantly below average. I travel quite a bit and frequent boutiques that are higher end / more expensive & have been treated much better. I had a stack of clothes to try, and once I was placed in a dressing room, no one asked if I needed any other sizes. My husband was the one going through the racks bring me different things to try on. No one even offered to help him. Great selection & sales for Nashville, but don't expect much from the staff. Pros: good selection & most sizes Cons: not helpful more

Great Shopping Experience 2/1/2007

I am shocked to see all of the negative reviews for Boutique Bella that are listed. I have always been treated very well when shopping there. Most of the girls that work there know me by name and are always smiling and happy to assist me with jeans or whatever else I might be needing. Shopping for jeans can be intimidating, especially when most of the staff are tiny sizes and very cute girls. It seems like some people can turn insecurities about themselves into anger towards girls that work at boutiques around town. I encourage you to check Boutique Bella out for yourself instead of listening to negative comments from negative people. Pros: Lots and lots of jeans! Cons: Can be hard to park around lunchtime more

FYI 1/22/2007

Okay, so an interesting little tidbit to all you girls. You'll notice that there are only 3 decent reviews on Bella, and if any of you are on the Boutique Bella mailing list, you'll notice that all of your emails from Bella come to you under the name of ""Shopgirl19"" Anyone surprised to see that Shopgirl 19 was the first to speak up on the ""fabulous customer service""? I mean, come on. The reveiw reads like an advertisement. Don't be fooled. Yes, it is the only place I buy my jeans, because of the selection and decent sales (sales only on tiny sizes however. If your waist is above a 27, good luck), but I literally procrastinate on buying a new pair of jeans for the sheer fact that I thoroughly hate my experiences shopping in this boutique. Just don't ever expect to be in and out if in a hurry. Allow yourself plenty of time to dig through those huge stacks of jeans all on your own, because those girls certainly WILL NOT assist you. All I can say is I sure hope they aren't make any commission whatsoever off of my purchases. Pros: Selection and few sales, location Cons: SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE.......or should I say lack there of? more

Staff not helpful 1/18/2007

Staff not helpful. Done with snobby shops downtown! Cons: staff more

Great place for jeans. 11/20/2006

When Boutique Bella has a clearance sale on jeans, they have a CLEARANCE SALE on jeans. Last time I was in I was able to get 3 pairs of designer jeans for under $100 TOTAL. That included a pair of 7's and a pair of Juicy Couture's. Since then I stop in periodically to check out the clearance wall. Pros: If it's not on sale it's EXPENSIVE. Cons: Staff can be a bit snobby. more

terrible service...not worth the trip. consistenly bad. 7/26/2006

the new location is great...they have much more space and its just easier to get around. but the girls who work in boutique bella are awful. they have such high and mighty attitudes and definately seem very inconvenienced if you ask for anything. i was in a bit of a hurry on one day recently and (june) i asked one of the girls who works in this store to help me find a jeans size and she told me where the stack of jeans was (needless to mention she pointed directly in front of my face from across the table). she obviously was telling me she was not interested, but thank you for the invitation. yes, they may have a lot of great designers...but i do not at all think its worth the attitude of the girls in the store for the label. there are other places in nashville to go. go to parisians. or abbie and jesses (my personal favorite and definately the BEST customer service) in cool springs. or bamboo in green hills. bad bad bad shopping experience at bb. more

WOW! Great Boutique! 5/9/2006

I love Boutique Bella! Girls are super nice and very helpful. Anytime I have ever need help the employees and even the owner have all taken really good care of me. They carry all of my favorite brands like True Religion, Juicy, and Michael Stars. Great for cute jeans and a tee-shirt or for a cute dress! Pros: helpful staff more

Rude service, over-priced clothes 4/26/2006

Gals, the servce is snotty. The salespeople talk on their cells and ignore you when you walk in. Oh and god forbid if you need assistance, they will treat you even worse. FYI-you can get the same clothes online for cheaper and without the attitude! Cons: rude staff, overpriced, poor selection more

Laid back, likeable sales girls 2/17/2006

Much to the contrary of the other reviews I always have a nice experience at Boutique Bella. Maybe it's because I'm a nice and polite patron. The sales girls are the best at finding jeans and are very knowlegable about their vast inventory. In fact a few times the staff has gone out of their way to acomadate me and make my shopping easy. It is unfortunate that bitter people are the only ones with the time to write bad reviews and good stores are made to look bad. I want others to know that this is not the case. more

Snobby Sales Girls 2/8/2006

If you're in the mood to be completely ignored then this is your place. I don't want to be hounded while shopping, but a simple hello acknowledging me would be nice. The sales girls need to get over themselves. Do not waste your time or money. Pros: Location Cons: Rude sales girls, prices more

attitude & service 10/16/2005

after reading the other reviews, i was glad to see that i was not the only one getting totally ignored by the staff here. i certainly welcome any funky boutique that provides a place for me to pop in and pick up a few things, but given more options, i would not shop here. shopping can be such an intimidating process anyway - nothing fits, can't afford it, dressing room lights make me look like death, i'm too fat - etc etc. no one needs further intimidation by the sales staff and especially an owner. they need our patronage to stay in business - we can always find other places to shop! besides ringing up the cash register, the service is non-existent and the attitude is ever present. Pros: little tops Cons: attitude, service more

Snob central 10/15/2005

I am a local nashville girl, who likes to find designer deals. I found my favorite jeans at Bella and they were next to the door on the marked down table. 70% off. However, the staff is very snobby and extremely rude. It doesn't make sense when the staff acts like they're better than you and they're the one's behind a counter. Don't go unless you want to deal with some serious attitude problems. Pros: Super discounts Cons: Expensive, Bad Attitudes more
