Worst customer service.. very disappointed! 11/27/2011

Location @ 1604 & Redland Road: I have not visited this restaurant beforehand but I've always wanted to, so I came here with 12 guests for my birthday. Let me tell you, the service was the most HORRIBLE experience, especially for my special day. OUR WAITER WAS VERY RUDE AND IT WAS CLEAR HE DIDN'T CARE TO HELP US MUCH. We asked for multiple things MULTIPLE times, we even had to track him down a few times because he kept disappearing for long periods of time! Mind you, we came around 1PM on a quiet Tuesday afternoon where there was nobody else there! I see why now... ALSO, THE FOOD WAS COMPLETELY OVERPRICED, and the taste wasn't worth the money! A few of my guests had blackened fish and it was literally BURNT to a crisp! And my pasta had absolutely NO flavor. Our glasses were also left empty for extended periods of time. Overall, I was completely disappointed. I will absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anybody ever. I had the worst experience, it is not worth the time, or money! more

UGH 3/22/2009

They should be ashamed to call it Bourbon Street. The cook must have never been to New Orleans. The frog legs tasted like they were dipped in milk and flour with no seasoning. I went for the crawfish which were boiled in water with old bay sprinkled on top tasteless. Crawfish are suppose to be very spicy. The service was horrible when I asked for a to go container he brought it to my table but the other customers had there food taken away from the table and packaged for them with a bag included I had to ask. New Orleans is a happy spicy place this restaurant was not. Pros: UGH Cons: THE COOK HAS NEVER BEEN TO NEW ORLEANS more

Far and away the best of its kind in San Antonio 7/31/2008

All around, a top notch restaurant. I'd driven by it many times and really hadn't thought much of it; sort of unassuming in a strip mall on the northwest corner of 1604 and Redland Rd (new address). It was highly recommended to me by a trusted source, so I thought I would give it a shot. I was very surprised. It's a very cozy, warm setting. The service was impeccable and the food did not disappoint. I had the escargots and diablo redfish. Quite outstanding indeed. Fresh ingredients from a very competent kitchen. I will be making this a regular stop. De-LISH! Pros: Excellent Food, Great Atmosphere and Service Cons: A Little Pricey more
