Very nice bookstore. I usually prefer Powell's or Barnes & Noble, but this Borders is much closer to where I live. It has a very nice atmosphere, very friendly employees. I can easily spend hours there in a book. Pros: friendly, quiet, nice cafe Cons: needs more chairs and tables more

An Ugly Experience 8/17/2008

I usually only write nice reviews, but once and a while something happens where you just have to say something about it. I had a really ugly experience at the Seattle's Best cafe at the Gresham Borders. Being in customer service myself, I am reluctant to complain unless the barista's behavior is really out of line.
