Fine Dining in a casual atmosphere 11/12/2006

Creative and well prepared meals in a relaxed atmosphere with local art adorning the walls. A diverse menu includes a variety of unusual appetizers, seafood, fine meats, pasta, vegetarian entrées, and great desserts. The chef/owner, Chanta Menon, offers unusual and tasty specials daily. With a devoted and enthusiastic clientèle, the Blue Door is one of the best kept secrets in North Texas. more

Awesome, another local place. There was a T shirt I saw one time for the Blue Door that said it all: This ain't no chicken fried steak place! Interesting, eclectic blend of exotic flavors. Never a disapointment, great place to take out of town guests. more

Uptown Feel In A Small Town 8/4/2005

Blue Door Cafe is an eclectic arrangement of food and design. The portions are small but unique. The food is adequate but the atmosphere is excellent if you like an artsy dining experience. The is quiet and knowledgeable while the food selection is minimal. It's a nice restaurant for a quiet evening and would appeal to the young twenty-something crowd. more
