Dr. Sweeney & Thelma,his dental asst., provided excellent care & treatment in performing an onlay of 2 teeth. One was for an old filling that had developed decay below the filling. Grinding out the filling & extensive decay was a tedious & delicate task. The 2nd onlay was for a fractured tooth. Throughout this 3 hr appt. Dr. Sweeney continually reassured me by asking if I was OK, knowing this was a very stressful situation. This was my 1st procedure with Dr. Sweeney following my initial exam. I can't say enough good things about his caring, compassionate concern for my well-being during extensive dental drilling, which is obviously not considered to be a pleasurable & enjoyable experience. I think Thelma is an excellent & highly skilled dental assistant. Her reassuring, gentle pats on my arm communicated her compassionate concern for me as well. I can't say enough good things about her either! I am so happy to be a patient with the BlueWave Dentistry team. Cary, Nancy, Candace,& Joan in the front office are likewise an integral part of a great team. When they greeted me with their warm & friendly smiles upon my arrival, they made me feel welcome & glad to be there. I highly recommend anyone desiring excellent dental care with a warm & friendly group of physicians & staff who are highly trained & use state of the art technology to become a patient with BlueWave Dentistry! more

I had an appointment for a cleaning and I was concerned because I had another comittment and had only one hour for the appointment. Megan was (as always) fantastic in working with me and I was able to get out on time. The staff at Blue Wave is caring, competent, and efficient and I actually (well, most of the time) look forward to my appointments. Keep up the good work! more

The office was pleasant and Michelle, who met me and did my x-rays, was just a delight!The staff were all very friendly. The only negative was the cost of the crown which I will be getting, as I paid less than half for a gold crown up in Maine where I just moved from. However, I liked Dr. Sweeney and felt confident he would do a great job taking care of my teeth! more

After experiencing a very traumatic tooth extraction at the age of 3, i can not even say the word "dentist" without cringing...all that changed upon my first visit with the BLUE WAVE TEAM of professionals. Just completed an appointment to have a (30 year old) filling replaced. The BlueWave staff was punctual, professional and personable as always. They explained what needed to be done, showed me before and after pictures, completed the treatment in a time and cost effective manner, and provided valuable and understandable guidance toward future treatment. Yesterday Dr. Sweeny and Thelma prepared and crowned 2 teeth that were long overdue for this procedure. They were caring and efficient. Even though the procedure took 4 hours, I feel that as a whole the process was quite timely compared to my prior crown experience with another dentist. I like that there is use of new technologies, it inspires confidence in a patient that their practitioner is up-to-date on new ways to treat their patients as efficiently and as comfortably as possible. more

Once my mouth was no longer numb, I completely forgot that I had a tooth filled this morning! There is no pain or soreness. Everyone at Blue Wave Dentistry is extremely nice, but more importantly, everyone is extremely competent! Thanks for a positive dental experience...........if that is actually possible :-) more
