Bloom is one of the most expensive flower shops in the city. With that you expect a certain level of service. I ordered valentines day flowers a week before valentines day and confirmed with them twice that they would be delivered on valentines day. I got a call on the 14th at night saying my order came back to the store and how embaressed they were and felt so bad. and would send them the next day... the next day they NEVER sent the flowers again.... When i called they said they had no excuse. They said they would send me a complimetary arrangement and now are saying they will not. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Service does NOT match the price. more

Took my wife to New York for Sweetest Day. I was hesitant to order based on price. Yes Bloom's is expensive. The quality however surpasses any other florist I've used in five states and Canada in the past year. My wife was awestruck. She would not leave New York without the flowers. The Four Seasons kept them at the Concierge desk the entire afternoon which speaks a lot. The hotel boxed them up and my wife got them past TSA. The stewardesses were impressed enough to usher them to the back of the plane for the flight home to Michigan. Kim, the owner, was fantastic to deal with pre and post sale. Dollar for dollar you can't go wrong here. I would not think twice about ordering here again. more

I recently received an arrangement from Bloom from a friend, what an unexpected BEAUTIFUL SURPRISE! The colors were amazing and the selection of flowers was just perfect, and best of all they lasted over a week!\r thank you Bloom! Cons: none! more

For the most beautiful flower arrangements in New York City, with exceptional customer service, go to Bloom where you will not be disappointed. I ordered an arrangement on a Saturday morning at 9:30 and by 11:30 it was hand delivered. The flowers were gorgeous, the arrangement was stunning, the only thing that is better, is the kind, courteous and efficient service. I have ordered from Bloom for every occasion/holiday and have never been disappointed. Neither will you. If you want flowers, there is no other place in New York but Bloom. I needed an arrangement and I needed it fast (I almost forgot it was my mother in-laws birthday) I work in mid-town and always passed by Bloom's stunning window. I ran into the shop on my lunch break and was greeted by the NICEST shop girl, Anna. She helped guide me through my very stressful last minute purchase. The flowers were delivered to her that night - and she (the absolute toughest of critics and connoisseur of all) was blown away by how original and exotic the design was!.Thank you Bloom- I will be back! The staff was very helpful in making suggestions and showing examples so that I can get a better idea of the outcome. They are very conscientious about designing for your particular space and budget while maintaining their unique style. I was also pleased to discover their creativity in creating arrangements that will last, carefully selecting plants and deceptively realistic faux flowers, a welcome design approach in this economy. New management has also insured prompt delivery – they have yet to disappoint. After what I hoped was a ""one time glitch"" on a previous delivery, I gave them one more shot. Missed the delivery time & when I called them to follow up they actually lied & told me it WAS delivered. Making matters worse, they actually called the birthday girl directly and asked her if she had received the flowers! A (not very cheap) metal(!) home decor item, broke in 2 identical pieces. I showed the item to the staff and they said they would check with the manufacturer. After 4 months, multiple voice mails, and written communication, not 1 single word came from Bloom. After passing by I got the worst service possible. Backs were turned, arrogant staff (and owner). This shop is number 1 in worst-service-treatments. They probably have tons of business and can afford to be rude. If you have a choice: don't pay their elaborate prices for a bunch of roses in a ""original"" vase or $300 for a mal-factured cnadle holder. There are lots of cheaper florists out there who will go that extra mile to pamper you. It's not worth to get treated like a dog and pay a fortune! Cons: Service more

The flowers were not delivered on the right day and no one called to let me know. They said it was going to be delivered by the next day but 3/4 into the next day, it still wasn't delivered. more

this is the worst service in town these folks do not allow cancelations even before delivery on a potted item they OVER PRICE everything! more

Bloom Flowers is the worst florist I have used in New York in 10 years. The service is abysmal -- the managers do not know what they are doing -- an expensive arrangement arrived damaged and the store would not take any steps to acknowledge or remedy the problem. Do not use Bloom! They are irresponsible. Any other florist would be more appreciative of the business. more
