Dear Chelsea,\r Since you insist on bashing me all over social media, let me just say...When you sat in my chair you went from just trying to even out and trim ""the awful cut your mother gave you"" to cutting it short, and wanting really short bangs. The ONLY REASON I seemed hesitant about your hair after you said ""short"" was because your hair IS SO DAMAGED(that happens when you bleach out your hair all over two times in a row). And I did repeat that OVER AND OVER to you. And also informed you that the shorter you cut all the damaged hair the more it would stick out with your texture and the cut you wanted. You insisted even after I gave you my professional opinion. And yes, I was a little annoyed towards the end when you kept asking to thin this and cut this, because I didnt want to cut it anymore! I knew you weren't going to be happy with it once it was cut. Everyone in the salon heard me talking to you about your hair. I wasn't rushed, I stopped and explained everything to you. I'm very sorry you are unhappy, but you were unhappy with it when you came in and said your ***mommy*** gave you an awful haircut. I tried talking to you about it when you called(tried ""taking responsibility"".) But you felt the need to hang up after I offered for you to come in next week and have **my mommy** the owner look at it. In no way was I backing you into a corner with that...She would be the person in charge to talk to. And she along with 3 other stylist all overheard our entire appointment. All agree you were informed of what was going to happen to your hair once I cut it. So, I am sorry you're not happy with your hair. I explained everything to you. You still insisted. The Owner is sorry we couldn't make you happy. Have a very Merry Christmas. more

I adore Blondes Brunettes and Redheads! Everyone there is on top of their game. I have been going to this salon for 5 years now and have been to almost all the ladies- I have never had a bad experience. They all have a lot of advanced training in color and cutting and do a beautiful job. The front desk staff is also extremely welcoming to the clients. I highly recommend this salon. Thank you Blondes Brunettes and Redheads for being fantastic at what you do! more

DONT GO HERE!! They do not care about you, just your money. You might as well go to fantastic sams. I went in to just get my hair thinned out and the ends cleaned up after i cut the ends bad and also my bangs. It was not that bad at all when i first went in just wanted to make it a little better, anyways, Brooke was very rushed did not listen to what i wanted, i felt like everytime i said something about it like ""can you just fix this piece here"" I was annoying her. I could go on about this forever bottom line is I noticed how terrible and carelessly chopped my hair was when i got home and called the salon,(i never do this, i hate having to be rude at all) I was trying my hardest not to be mean about it and she was grouchy and told me my hair was so damaged that she was ""hesitant"" to cut it. ofcourse thats AFTER she took my money and never told me she was hesitant before chopping it insanely! Then she has the nerve to say if i want to talk to someone else its going to be her mom since *her mommy* is the owner and pretty much laugh at me! i felt very backed into a corner. I totally understand that you can make mistakes with hair but geez at least take responsibility for it, and try to make it better. anyway if the owner or the ***mommy*** would like to take responsibility for her business, you have my number. more

I have been going to this salon off and on for several years. I like the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful, but I am not happy with the price for the service I receive, so I am actively looking for another salon. I get color touch up, sometimes highlights or low lights. I have short hair and it seems I can never get out of there without spending around $180.00. The last time, I just got what I would call a trim and color retouch and it cost me $175! The hairdresser is very quick and so I feel like I am rushed quickly in and out. I don't mind spending money on my hair, if it for a truly great cut, great color and salon experience, but I am not getting that. There is an old story (Aesop's Fables) about a golden goose that I think applies here... take care of that the proverbial goose that lays the golden eggs and you will have wealth for life, be greedy and you will kill the goose and there will be no more golden eggs.\r \r ** Just want to add that I spoke to 2 people who live in the area and both had gone to this salon, but said that would not go back. One said she didn't not have a good salon experience. The other said that her hair was cut hastily and she had to go back to have it corrected (they did correct the cut). \r more

Great salon and very friendly...recently my hair started receding, I was at a loss on how to have it cut or how to fix it and I almost shaved it all off...but thanks to several of the talented ladies (I have recieved haircuts from 7 out of the 11 stylists) and honestly I am happier with my new haircut than I have been in years...PS beautiful women are a nice plus...just sayin' more

DO NOT go to this salon, i had gone there to get a full color done and it wasnt the color i wanted. i called back and spoke to the manager and was told they were not going to re do it and then i was hung up on.Save yourself the aggravation ladies and go somewhere where they value their customers, especially when your paying $120 more

I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly. Jennifer cut and colored my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. The receptionist was welcoming and kind and offered me a beverage while I waited. I will be back. In fact, I'm scheduling today for someone to give me a new style/cut! more

I recently went to another salon and had my hair colored, needless to say it turned out horrible, I called this salon based on the reviews and asked if I could come in to speak with someone and find out if my hair could be fixed and if so what needed to be done. The receptionist told me the next available appointment was Tuesday and asked if I wanted to book it, I replied well I would like to see if my hair can even be fixed first and get an opinion on what needs to be done - this would take someone maybe ten minutes of their time - I was told no, they are booked solid and if I wanted to talk to someone I would have to make an appointment, I explained the situation to her again and let her know that I would like to make an appointment but would like to know what for before scheduling - once again I was told sorry you cant speak with anyone with out an appointment - because of that this salon lost a potential customer, apparently ten minutes was too much to ask. more

This salon does not really have an “Aveda” atmosphere, which you will understand if you’ve been to other Aveda salons. They do not seem to do the relaxing little rituals that many Aveda salons do, such as hand massages and steaming peppermint towels during conditioning. The general lighting and music are not really calming. On the plus side, I was offered a drink when I got there. My stylist, Brooke, was very friendly and did a nice job on my hair color (which is a big plus). However, I have to say that my cut and style were hastily done, leaving me with the impression that detail was not very important. My eyebrows were waxed out in the open in the shampoo area, and after leaving I realized that they were not done correctly, and I had to stop at the Randolph AFB salon and have them touched up. The bill was pretty expensive ($171 before tip, for shoulder length hair). I don’t think that I would return to Blonds Brunettes & Redheads. I have had more satisfactory service for less cost at other Aveda salons (some offer a military discount or at least a discount on the cut when you are also doing a color job). In the end, I guess cost would not have been such a factor if the overall ambience and experience had been more like what I expected, but I was disappointed. And it's never good if you have to stop at another salon on the way home from the first salon... :( more

GREAT SALON! Oh I haven't been this happy with my hair in SO long! I went in just yesterday actually have been going there for a few months but went in and my stylist Brooke fit me into her schedule as I needed in last minute for an event...We've been working on growing my hair out for the last few months and it's finally where I want it. I brought in a picture a few months ago of long beautiful hair with some red and blonde color in it as a goal...and Brooke loved it and discussed how it would look on me and how i would need to go about keeping up with the color...well a few months later and i have the exact picture! My hairs gorgeous my husband LOVES it. I've honestly never been happier. My color looks exactly as it does on the picture. The cut was growing out from a shorter do, and its now past my shoulders and getting to where I want it. She's so wonderful about taking care of my hair and changing things up for me! Shes my little Magician! Beautiful cuts and colors! YOU MUST! As for the salon...Its amazing. The atmosphere isnt like those other salons where you feel out of place and around people with their noses in the air. The receptionist are so sweet and go out of their way for their clients. I get extra hand massages and head massages. Absolutely amazing. Everyone there is sweet sweet sweet! I cant rave enough! Thank you to Blondes Brunettes and Redheads for their outstanding service. I prebook everytime I leave! more

Brandi is fabulous. Had been looking for someone for years and via many salons to find someone who could get the blond highlights and low lights the way I like them. She nailed it. She gives a great cut too, one that lasts weeks and weeks. She makes herself very available, so getting an appointment isn't difficult. Today I was able to call today and get in today...I love that...thanks Brandi. more

If you are looking for a ""this will do"" cut, go anywhere; but if you want Hollywood perfection, go tho Blondes Brunettes & Redheads and ask for Nancy. She is easily the best in San Antonio Metro, probably the best in the State of Texas, and as far as me and my wife are concerned, she's the best in the world. If there is someone better, we'll never know, because we would not let anyone else touch our hair. Nancy is not only professional and creative, she sweet to boot! You won't find a better stylist in San Antonio. more

I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year, I just couldn't afford it, and definitley didn't want to settle on great clips, no offense...its just I have a terrible expierience every time I go there. Anyway I finally had the time, and the money to go get my hair done just a matter of where to go. Well who knew that after all these years of living in Live Oak was this lovely salon? Not me! I finally decided to check it out after reading all the wonderful reviews. I called for an appt, was set up with Ali, went in and everyone was so friendly :) I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but Ali knew what to do. I love my results. And I look forward to coming back! more

Went in this morning, saw Ali. Was looking to take off a lot of hair and a big change. Am in love with the results! Ali was great and very nice and gave me an amazing cut! The rest of the staff was great, too! The guy at the front desk, (and I am so sorry I don't remeber his name) was wonderful! Gave me coffee and was very sweet. I am told he also does makeup and has for umpteen years. Will definately use those services in the future! And, Miss Ali, I will definately be coming back to see you! Thank you so much! :) more

I recently went in for a color and had brooke! it turned out wonderful! I loved the colors she did and the cut was great! I didnt even have to pick colors out she just did it! and gave great tips for home styling and even where to find decent tools to make it easier since im not that great at styling myself. Booked my next appointment for November! Cant wait! ~S Pros: Great Atmosphere!...Aveda!...Very Friendly and Welcoming Cons: none yet! more

Based on the reviews on this site, I gave the salon and Brandy a try. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am not an AVEDA fan, but I did buy some product and will give it a try. Reasonable rates on hair cut service. Pros: Nice atmosphere, quick appointment, plenty of parking Cons: Only carry one line of product - AVEDA more

Christy is VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and SWEET!!! She gave me a great haircut, showed me how to style it what products to use (but never once tried to push there products on me, and even told me the best shamppos to buy that wouldn't dry out my hair). She didn't over style my hair, you know those hairdressers that make you want to run home and shower out the style and redo it the right way (your way). She talked just enough but not too much. I can't say enough about Christy, shes awesome! I will definately return and will definately ask for Christy! Pros: Christy! Had a fun upbeat setting, high end cut at a reasonable price. Got me in fast! Cons: Not much front door parking, but who cares! more

A Great Colorist and hair dresser\r \r I have had some bad experiences going to salons. Once I went to Alta Moda Salon and had red stripes painted on my platinum hair. Trisha at Blondes Brunettes and Redheads fixed it and made and made it a dark blonde with high lights and I was able to go to work and look professional and got many compliments. Recently she did a color correction and took me back to my natural Brunette and it looks absolutley beautiful.I have never received so many compliments on my hair before! This is a great colorist you can trust and also a great person who takes the time to do a great job and is very friendly. I would recommend Trisha to anyone. more

Best salon around . Not to mention most of the girls there are Hot !!! Blondes Brunettes and Redheads or atleast one of each . You have to see them with your own eyes . Chrissy is gorgeous and Jeni too . I'll pay $25 any day to see these cuties :) Not to mention a good cut with 2 shampoo's , they get that itchy hair off . They gave me a beer and great service . more
