The Blind Pig has been around in one form or another for years. The current Pig is styled as an English pub with wood paneling, darts, and British beer. The beer is a little more expensive than your average bar, but most of the choices are imports that you can't find outside of a large city. They offer sampler sets as well so you can make up your mind with a smaller glass. They sell t-shirts and peanuts as well as alcohol. They have a resident piano player who plays mostly ragtime and makes me feel as if I'm in a saloon which is actually nice. There is also the occasional magician for a quirky touch. The decor has changed a bit lately as well as the bar staff. The downside of this pub is the extremely small size and low number of people allowed by the fire marshall. This results in a very long line on most nights of the week. Hopefully this will be remedied with the expansion into the shop next door. There are signs saying that this expansion will also include a kitchen so food will soon be available. I'm hoping for British pub food to go with the beer. Bangers and mash for everyone!
