Wedding Photographer 4/22/2012

I was given the task to find the wedding photographer, while my wife did just about everything else. One of the first people i called was David at blacktie photography and we set up a meeting at his studio for the next day with my wife. As soon as we left his place the next day my wife told she wants to use him as our wedding photographer and that was that. David made my job really easy :) He was very personable and funny and we both liked him right off the bat. We had a two day wedding. The first was at a church in los angeles followed by a party at my in-laws house, and the second and main party was in malibu the next day. Pictures came out great - we are both very happy with blacktie photography! more

Awesome Photographer! 3/22/2012

We're relatively new in Los Angeles so we didnt know many people here at all. We moved from New York a few months ago and we're still finding our footing. In the midst of finding our footing our child was born and we were throwing a baby shower for her. My wife knew of Blacktie Photography from her work so we hired them to take photos at our shower. They came to our house with a whole mini studio set up. They set up lights in different places and the photos came out fantastic. Both my wife and I were very satisfied with the service and the outcome. I'm looking forward to hiring them again to shoot photos for my business. more

The gentlemen from Blacktie Photography were smashing. My husband and I were very happy with the photos as well as the album and website that David put together for us. They captured the essence of our wedding day beautifully and we could not thank them more for that! more

exceeded expectations! 2/17/2012

David was my second knight in shining armor (after my hubby of course)! My photographer canceled on me 2 weeks before the wedding and I went nuts. I found David and I was happy my other photog canceled on me, he was a much better alternative and I'm keeping his number for any future photos I might need :D more

I'm going to keep it short and simple. David shot my engagement. David and Ben shot my wedding. David shot my trash the dress shoot. David captured my maternity photos, and then my family portraits after our first kid. Yes, there is a reason I keep coming back to him, he's amazing! more

Fantastic! 1/26/2012

David was a champ during our engagement shoot, a total champ. My only regret is that we cant bring him to our wedding because its going to be up in San Francisco. Our shoot was in venice, all over venice and it was fantastic. David shlepped his equipment all over venice and he was really patient with my many demands. more
