I love this place!! It has the best customer service and fun activities for all ages.

I'm reviewing the paintball section of Blackbeard's, as I've never actually done anything else there. The only really good thing about the fields is that they have an Airball fie...

IF Paintball: Horrible Safety (should be shut down) 5/18/2008

This is specific feedback about the IF paintball park connected to Black Beard's. I have been to a few paintball parks (both indoor and outdoor) and IF was the poorest when it came to safety and structure. Not only do they not regulate the players gun PSI the majority of players were between the ages of 8-14 without any structure or guidelines presented to them. They also lack basic first aid (I had a pretty severe bleeding wound from a player that was allowed to shoot me with unregulated PSI from 4 feet away) and they couldn't provide an alcohol swab or band-aid to assist. I am black and bruised all over with cuts - yes cuts - from the paintball velocity of players guns from there. Go anywhere but this place for a good, safe game of paintball. Sending children here is reckless for their safety and anyone else's as well. more

Fun Family Outing 10/25/2005

Blackbeards is the place to go it you want to have a fun outing with your family. There is lots of activities to choose from. They have an arcade with a wide selection of video games, miniature golf, bumper boats, pirate ship, water slides, paint ball and a couple more fun activities. The prices are a little bit high for some of the attractions. But overall this is a nice place to go and just hang out with your family or friends. more

Family Fun 9/30/2005

I haven't been here in a while, but I do remember not liking this place very much. There is stuff to do, but it just all seemed boring, and plain jane to me. The pirate ship, photo booths, arcade, and golfing are probably the best stuff they have here. I know they did have water slides here, but im not surte if those are still there. I guess this could be something new to do. more

Paintball 8/19/2005

I'm reviewing the paintball section of Blackbeard's, as I've never actually done anything else there. The only really good thing about the fields is that they have an Airball field, the only one I know of. The other field is pretty weak though. They also don't always have the airball set up. The problems I had were the excessive cheating due to referees who don't care. If you are a newb, playing a game with a rental might be worth it. But if you have your own gear, $15 dollars is too much just to play, especially when other places I know of are either free, free with a report card with straight A's, or $15 including all day air. more

  • The Experience
Situated among pond basins and barren airport land, Blackbeard's Family Fun Center is an oasis in the desert, beckoning suburban youngsters, preteens, and energetic grown-ups in search of entertainment that's flat-out fun.

    The Best
The pirate-themed amusement park originally offered miniature golf, but eventually expanded in all directions, including carnival rides, batting cages and the Cap 'N' Kids area for small children.

    The Rest
Bumper cars, paintball, and miniature racecars are only a few of the reasons Blackbeard's has been around Fresno for decades. There's a waterslide that beckons heat-soaked families and an elaborate arcade that attracts everyone from children just old enough to reach the controls to college students who take their video gaming very seriously.
