Very very nice 3/19/2006

This is a lovely Upper East Side bistro. As such, it's quite popular. I strongly suggest reservations, mainly because people rarely think to make them and it will help you ease your way past the crowd to the front of the line. The service is good here, although occassionally too familiar (I hate when waiters are a bit too chatty at formal or even semi-formal restaurants) and the crowd is more civilized than at most UES restaurants. more

Almost perfect 3/17/2006

I loved coming here, it was for my anniversary and I was very happy the whole night. I have been to other steakhouses and was not as impressed, but I really loved it here. I felt catered to while dining, but not hovered over, which is very nice. I also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, given that it was my anniversary and we wanted to be able to celebrate our way. more

Excellent time 2/24/2006

TThis is a great place to do a proposal, celebrate Valentine's Day or any other important occasion. The service is to be commended (they were very attentive without being overbearing) and everything delivered to our table was delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable and I highly recommend you have dinner here. more
