I love the old antique look - like royalty! 4/26/2006

This theatre is a true masterpiece. Just walking in makes you feel noble. It's small but very comfortable. You almost feel that you are alone enjoying the movies here. I came here a few times and would love to go again! Theres a rare intimacy about it. It really does mimic an old theatre which would have live plays. more

This place to me offers the best movie going experience in the area. It's a small, intimate, old theater with great atmosphere. The theaters are small so you have to make sure you arrive early to get a good seat. While the building is old, it offers all the modern amenities you would expect from a movie theater. This is my favorite place to see a movie in the area. more

Old School Movie Theater with modern Amenities 8/5/2005

Birmingham 8 is an awesome movie theater in Birmingham; it is centrally located to all the shops and restaurants. It has the old school feeling as soon as you enter the local, but with all modern services and amenities. The seats are spacious and very comfortable. I love their wide selection of toppings for the popcorn they sell. more

Birmingham Theater 7/25/2005

This is the sister theater to the Palladium just down the street. The Birmingham Theater has 8 screens. It is an old building that used to have 1 stage and it was renovated to a movie house. Some of the screens are small but the seating has a stadium pitch and you get a good view. The seats are great--cup holders, recliners. Very upscale. The foreign and art films usually play here--the mass market films show at the Palladium. more
