Good Daycare but you've got to watch them!
My son attended BB Daycare for 1 year. I recently removed him from the school because he was injured by a teacher while being sent to time out. The teacher reacted in anger and while she was nice, no child should be injured in any way by a teacher. The owners of the school are not very engaged. You'll get plenty of smiles but if you need resolution to an issue involving your child you pretty much get only the smile or a blank expression. Relative to the curriculum, I wouldn't say that a parent can expect their child to have a very active learning experience. The materials are often just copies of coloring sheets from the web (Sesame Street). You'll notice when you go to the classrooms that there are no learning materials on the walls, just nursery decorations. I am also quite certain none of the teachers have early childhood development degrees as you'll find in other daycare centers. They do have a spanish speaking caregiver that goes to each room weekly to teach a few basic words. All in all, the school is clean and bright. They also have a nice play area for the children. Bible Baptist Daycare is good for those able to spend top dollar for a glorified babysitting service. Lastly, check your child daily. When my child was injured NO ONE from the daycare called me. I had to do my own investigation into what happened and then contact them. Their first line of defense was to pretty blame a 19 month old for being sent to timeout and getting hurt by a teacher on the trip there. In fairness, I did not have a problem prior to my child being injured, but as a parent, for me that was unacceptable.
Pros: Clean and Bright
