dear j mart\r \r It was quite unfortunate indeed that i was not able to groom your baby (peanut). In regards to your review, you cannot state ""no called/no showed"" if you stated that you reschelduled 3 times with Best In Show Mobile Pet Salon, that would obviously not make any sense. I will admit that i failed to call or show up on the last rescheduling, due to overwhelming physical and mental circumstances regarding my mothers reoccuring illness. As a certified master stylist and artist, this is probably one of the 1st bad mistakes that i have ever made in the 21 years of dog grooming, my track record speaks for itself. As a human being, i feel that i am entitled to at least one mistake in my career. I would love to be writing a glowing review of Steve's services, unfortunately I never experienced them. I called middle of the week, set appt for 6PM Fri., he called about 4pm Fri to say van in shop, I agreed to resch. 5pm Sat. No show on Sat, he called about 6:30pm to say sorry his Mom in hospital could I please resch Sun at 6PM. I said perhaps should wait till his Mom ok. but he insisted he would show up for sure on Sun. Well it is almost 7pm Sun & NO SHOW- NO CALL. Perhaps Steve is going thru a bad time, but his behavior has been totally unprofessional & inconsiderate. I was so excited to find such a highly recommended groomer so close by & am very disappointed & so is my scruffy little rescue Peanut. I continued going to a downtown groomer only because of Steve - one day, when my little dog's cut looked awful I asked where Steve was. I just found him again and lucky for us all he has his own company. Steve is the most amazing groomer I have ever found, New York, LA - we are so lucky to have Steve in Dallas. He really is a show dog groomer and that means our non show dogs look so amazing, he's like a master hair stylist in the dog world. Please dont go to a groomer and get your dog muzzled for a grooming or make them wait all day in a little cage - Steve comes to your house and gives your dog all the attention they deserve - no cages, no muzzles, no excuses. My little dog is more than 10 and is very choosy - she was so happy to see him again, and that's unusual for a grooming. Steve is very friendly and knowledgeable about his profession. He will answer any questions you may have about taking care of your pet during those in-between grooming visits. When we take our Yorkie to a stationary groomer she comes home very lifeless, almost like she has been drugged. After Steve got finished with her she was full of energy and ready to play. Very caring and friendly service. My lhasa usually is aggressive with new people, but he warmed up to Steve right away. He had very good advice for us. It was evident that he takes pride in his work. To all of my super awesome clients. For those of you who have been searching for the PERFECT GROOMER - look no further. Steve's Best in Show Mobile Pet Salon is AMAZING! Steve has over 15 years of grooming experience and worked at a well-known pet salon in Downtown Dallas before deciding to start his own mobile grooming business. Not only does he come to you, but your babies don't have to stress out about leaving their home. In addition, your little ones won't be kenneled-up for the entire day, either -- this is a major plus! Lastly, although my dogs can be a bit difficult when it comes to the grooming process (i.e., snapping, biting, etc.), Steve calmed them down and gave them the royal treatment. Oh, and he also gave my Westie the exact cut we described! How about that?! A groomer that actually listens to your needs!! after moving from cali to tx because of job transfers i was in the hunt for a mobile dog groomer. not just any mobile dog groomer but a great mobile groomer. i gave steve alonzo from best in show a try. this guy is amazing. my groomer who was in that business of only doing show trims in cali was great and has many many years of experience. call me crazy but i think steve's talent surpassed my old groomer. how? he is so precise and intense in his work . i know i will never have elizabeth shown but i prefer to have her in a show coat and she is just stunning. michael p Pros: best show trim on my irish setter more

My dog Paw Paw is not a people person and does not do well around strangers. I have struggled in the past with being able to get her groomed because she is very afraid of people that she does not know and we've had more than one bad experience when she's gone out for grooming, etc. Steve is great with my dog and she is not afraid of him! He is very patient with her and very sweet with her. He takes his time and ensures that she looks great when he's done. I have to say that outside of friends and family, Steve is the only person that my dog trusts and feels comfortable around. She will allow him to cut her hair and it's nice to know that my dog is relaxed and not under stress while she is being groomed. It's a major plus that Steve will drive to my house and groom my dog without me having to load her up in the car and worry about her being nervous and having to stay locked up in a kennel the majority of the day. I have always done my own grooming for my 3 dogs. I have developed lower back problems and this is not a task I can do anymore. Steve's flyer arrived in my mailbox just in time! He bathed and groomed all my dogs to perfection! They smell and look so good and I know they were well cared for during their 'spa' treatment. They really liked Steve. He was gentle and talked to them and made me feel like he really cared about MY dogs. I was so thrilled with his services that I had him return 3 days later to bathe and groom my daughter's two dogs who arrived from Anchorage by airplane. They took to Steve right away too and he did an amazing job on them too. Now I have 5 clean and beautiful dogs in my home! I can't recommend Steve and his services highly enough! I had my Golden Retriever and my Coton De Tulear groomed by Steve and they have never ever looked and felt so good. I was in need to find a mobile groomer in my area, due to not being able to get around very easy anymore, and I have tried a couple of others and was not happy with the cuts and prices.\r So I called Best In Show and got one of the best cuts my Shihtzu has ever received. My Cuddles smelled so good and his hair was so soft. The products they use are great!!! The mobile unit they came in was very clean and professional. \r Awesome service!!! more
