thought I try them for grooming. How disappointing......\r I had an 8am appointment and was asked what time I would like to come and get her. I said as soon as possible. When I called at 1030am I was told she'd be ready at 1pm. I said 1 I was not expecting that. I showed up at 1pm and she was just being worked on. I was very upset and was asking the girl behind the desk, how could this have happened? I had a 8am appointment, does that mean my dog has been in a cage for 5 hours. I would have dropped her off later, if you were that backed up. I was then advised since I didn't give a pick up time and others did they had to honor those times. Really???\r There was a gentleman behind the counter also as I was showing my anger and then he walked in the back. I then asked for a manager and what to do you know, the same gentleman came out from the back. I said so you heard why I am upset and he said yes. Well what kind of manager let's his worker take the wrath of an angry customer? more

Wouldn't use any other boarding facility 12/11/2009

It is always hard to board a pet but Best Friends makes it so much easier. We know our dog Jethro is in good hands and he seems fine when we leave him there so we know he's treated well. The staff is friendly and always seems to be happy to see him. Pros: They take a personal interest in your pet Cons: none more

Doggie Day Care 2/22/2006

What will they think of next??? I brought one of my dogs here for a grooming and was able to get a tour of the place while she was being pampered. I'm glad she didn't get to take the tour with me or I don't think she would have been willing to leave. What a wonderful place. The animals are treated very well and the "accomodations" are really superb. The staff is absolutely great and they make your dog feel so loved & well cared for. I was very pleased with the grooming my dog received and will keep them in mind if I need to board my dogs in the future. more

Pet Resort & Spa 7/19/2005

Best Friends Pet Care is a multi purpose facility. They groom, offer training and have a nice selection of foods, toys and pet supplies. My tour guide was very friendly and upbeat. They also offer a day camp for your dog. This is $18/day for dogs $12 for cats. I observed several same size (important) dogs having their play dates. They all looked happy. They offer one on one play time when you board your dog for $6/day. Dogs have their little "apartments" that have a bedroom and front area. These are really just cages stacked , not actual rooms but they appeared very clean. My dog hates other dogs so the proximity nixed this for him. Each cage has a goodie bag on the gate and each dog gets a lambskin "bed".They are fed Eukanuba Adult Maintenance though this would present a problem for me since dogs need to gradually wean to a new food if its not the one they're used to.
