i have been going to best buy for the past few years at the airport way location but i live in troutdale or. when they finally opened a location in gresham i was excited due to the fact it was so close to home . when i had gone to the gresham location for the first time i was so disappointed with the horrible customer service and lack of knowledge of the products they are selling ,but i let it go thinking it was just a bad day .a few weeks later i returned to gresham best buy again and purchased a camera for a friend as a gift ,within a week and a half the camera started to malfunction so i returned it for exchange and because my reciept was one day past the return policy time they didnt want to do anything about it . i asked the gentleman behind the counter if he had this happen to him would he be happy ,his reply was ""well sir i was going to help you out with this, but since you have an attitude now i wont"". i said nothing and decided to go to the air port way location and within 5 minutes of being there and explaining my situation the lady behind the counter smiled and said ""no problem sir ,i would be more than happy to help you with this and i hope you will continue to shop at best buy"". i replied with "" i love best buy and i will continue to shop here but only here not at the gresham location"" . gresham location should really be trained that best buy doesnt mean bad customer service. i will say this ,the prices and wide selection of all items is nice but no one should be made to feel that good customer service is a favor givin to customers ,it should be a standard.
