The salesmen at this Best Buy store in Deerfield was not honest. We bought a Sony earbud. The salesmen highly recommended the warranty. He said that if anything went wrong we could come to exchange within 2 years of purchase, My wife told him that we had a puppy at home, and it might be good to have such a protection. He said yes, any damage would be covered. Today we took the broken earbud to this store for exchange, and was refused because the warranty did not cover physical damage. Why the salesmen did not point this out when my wife mentioned that we had a puppy at home. He clearly said that all damages were covered. Do not buy any warranty from this store. more

This is possibly the worst Best Buy I have encountered. Their customer service desk in manned by one employee at a time. Imagine that when there is a return line. I tried to trade in video games and not only do they treat you like you stole your own games, but the service desk workers have no idea how to work their own trade in program software. After 45 minutes at the service desk I was told that the computer system is having trouble and that I would have to come back. What? It took you 45 minutes to figure that out? Not to mention, we tried getting a manager to come up front several times. One finally came but was no help and she told me that she was new to the store and that she did not know the software herself. Needless to say, I left there a little annoyed. Find another Best Buy for your own sanity. more

POOR 5/19/2008

Employee experience is bad, this roles over to the customer experience. The management is poor. I would stay away from this place and Best Buy as a whole!! Pros: the only electronic store around Cons: The Management, esp. the General Manager. more

Dont call over the phone!! 1/9/2008

Do not try calling over the phone. You will never get through. The phone just keeps ringing and ringing. Finally got a hold of somone after 20 minutes and had them transfer me to car audio, and there I also waited another 10. Horrible customer service at least over the phone. more

Great place to shop for electronics 9/10/2005

This place is a great place to shop for electronics, with nice customer service representatives beyond the desk. They answer any of the questions. Good store. more

Ok place to buy electronics 4/17/2005

They have all electronics you can think of. The good thing is taht they are cheaper than others sometimes. The bad thing is they show their colors when you go and try doing a price match with them. You have to wait for all kinds of people checking if what you are asking is legititimate etc... PROS: Good variety of products to choose from CONS: Dont bother to PM if you dont want to wait in their checkout line more

The workers at Best Buy are always willing to help customers out. Best Buy has a pretty large variety of music. They offer more on line. They also offer price matching. All customers need to do is to bring in the ad and Best Buy will meet the price. I have does this on several occasions and have never had a problem doing so. Best Buy is a great place to buy all your electronic needs. They have pretty much any electronic one might need at great prices. The employees are somewhat helpful but may get pushy due to the pressure of commision. Otherwise when they get sales, their products are cheap and are a great buy! more
