The Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced 8/19/2010

I had purchased a new TV from the Best Buy store in Watertown, MA, and to my dismay brought it home to find that the picture had a noticeable shadow image. Hence, I brought the product back to the store to be exchanged. Upon arrival at the store, I asked for assistance with unloading the TV from my car, and was told to pull up in front of the store. I did so, but the store's employees merely waited within the entryway to the store and watched as I struggled with getting the TV out of my car. When I asked for help, they replied nonchalantly that they could not leave the store. \r \r Once I had brought the TV inside, I was told that the TV had to be inspected before any exchange could take place. Laurence from the Geek Squad conducted the inspection, and was aboslutely RUDE - he insisted that there was nothing wrong with the picture, and said things like "I don't know what's wrong with your eyes", and asked me sarcastically "have you ever owned a TV before". \r \r I was, needless to say, ve more

I purchased a new TV from this store, and to my dismay brought it home to find that the picture had a noticeable shadow image. Hence, I brought the product back to the store to be exchanged. The next day, I called the store to ask how long it would take for the money to be refunded -- the guy who picked up replied brusquely, ""three business days"", and simply hung up the phone without saying anything else.\r \r Best Buy HQ -- WAKE UP!!! These guys at Watertown are giving your brand a BAD NAME. The fact that the TV wasn't working satisfactorily is forgivable -- the fact that your store tolerates employees who don't know how to be polite to customers is most definitely not. more

Camera shopping by LL 9/2/2009

I went looking for a digital camera and found the staff at Best Buys the most knowledgeable about the product I wanted. They kept the recommendations in the price range I preferred and help me compare several comparable products. There pricing was comparable to others stores for the same quality. I found they had a lot of information to share and willing to stop to explain what I did not understand. When you go to purchase an item make a list of the features that you think you would us. This helps keep you focused and gives the sales people something to go by.\r Camera shopping by LL more

They won't even answer the phone 12/8/2008

Trying to live a green lifestyle, I decided to call the Best Buy store in Watertown on a Monday afternoon at 2:00. My phone has a timer onit, so I know these facts are accurate: \r First call: machine answers, i press "3" to speak to an associate, phone rings for 4 minutes, no human answers, phone then hangs up on me.\r Second call: machine answers, i press "3" for associate, someone picks up after two minutes of ringing, I say I want to talk to the cell phone department, she transfers the call, phone rings for 4 minutes, then hangs up on me. \r Third call: machine answers, i press "3" for associate (I know, I'm an idiot). phone rings for 7 minutes, finally associate picks up. transfers me to cell phone department, where asociate picks up phone and promptly hangs it up. \r Fourth call- ok, there was no fourth call. I fired up my computer and bought the cell phone online (NOT at bestbuy, com) more

Good for most of your entertainment needs 11/4/2005

I usually find good deals on dvds at Best Buy, but sometimes service isn't as good as I'd like. This one time I asked a worker to look to see if they had a dvd I wanted in the back and instead of going to a computer and checking their inventory, she goes to the back and then tells me that there are way too many boxes and she knows its in one of them, but there were too many to check. Otherwise, best buy is a great place to shop. more

the first place I go 9/13/2005

Whenever I need anything electronic or digital or high-tech, Best Buy is the first place I think of and it's the first place I go. I have been to this Best Buy many times within the past couple years. About a year ago, my husband and I bought a new computer there. I got it home and tried it out. I hated the operating system, so I returned it. It was the most hassle-free return I've ever had, and I wasn't chargred a "restocking fee." Many of the sales associates aren't quite as knowledgeable as I'd like, but that doesn't deter me from going to the store. more

wide selections, okay service, high price 9/4/2005

It has wide selections. You can almost find everything you need. The service are okay. Suggest to check availability online first. The price are high, especially for service & repair. more

If you like best buy, the one in Watertown delivers all the goods. My favorite display in the one of the Bose Lifestyle system. This one is easy to get to if you have a car. more

Great Selection 5/30/2005

Best Buy is the perfect place to go for technological needs. They have almost anything one would need to keep up with the fast changing times of technology, but the costumer service can be a hassle. I suggest using the store as a place to go when you know what your doing already, as returning things, and dealing with the store for other than buying can really become aggravating. I definately would suggest the store for those who are already computer users and just use the store to go and get whatever they know they need, and not let the store handle their problems. more

Best buy kicks ass!!!! 5/29/2005

I love this best buy because it is the first that the headquarters delivers to in Massachusettes so that means that they have the freshest stuff and the sweetest deals. Rock on! more
