I took my vacuum to get serviced and they do not follow through on their promises to get the work done on time and will not offer a loaner. Their excuse is that they have a lot of other customers to service and if that is the case, why not hire more help instead of aliening customers? more

not so great sewing classes 10/17/2005

Want to learn how to sew, then don’t come here. Their classes are nothing more than an extended sales pitch for their overpriced sewing machines. The instructors are ill tempered, and the projects you work on are great if you consider an apron exciting. You’d be better off to teach yourself rather than learning here. Only good part, class size is small. I wonder why. more

Friendly Staff, Loved the Sewing Classes 8/20/2005

I took a beginners sewing class at Bernina after seeing their booth at the Fair in 2004. The pattern was a bit expensive, and I think they would have preferred if you bought your fabric & stuff from their store (Their fabric is alot more expensive than the cheap-o fabric I was interested in using). Betty was the instructor and she taught me and the other girl in the class (very small class sizes!) how to make a double-sided apron with a pocket. Having never used a sewing machine before, I found the instruction to be straightforward and simple and I now have a terrific apron that looks professionally made. more
