I have used Berk's Electrical and Lighting for years now. Whenever we have a complicated electrical issue, they come right over to take care of it. Berk's is not always the cheapest service, but it is the best. I have a lot of confidence in them. The electrician they send is very professional. I even trust him alone in my house. He is a really good guy. He will always arrive on time or call ahead if there are any delays. He does top quality work. When we first moved in, the electrician we had did some bad wiring and really put us at risk. Our guy from Berk's, on the other hand, knows what he is doing, and he does it safely, too. Everything is to code. He also presents us with all of our different options. This is a reliable company. You may be able to find other electrical companies that are cheaper, but there are none better than Berk's Electrical and Lighting. more

Berk's Electrical and Lighting's employees were always courteous, clean, sure to come on time, and very good at explaining what I needed to do and why I needed it done. They knew their stuff. They helped me make decisions on things, telling me what would be best and what was the most economical way to do things. I needed a lot of rewiring and line dedication done. I also had a lot of hot wires that weren't even grounded. They really did do a lot for me! more

Berk's Electrical and Lighting gives you quality service at a fair price 11/7/2013

I would definitely use Berk's Electrical and Lighting again. I was really pleased with the work they did. I called them because I had some outside lights for my driveway and front steps that hadn't worked in three or four years. I called contractors to come and look at them, but they could never get the lights to work. The technician from Berk's came and got them working perfectly. I highly recommend their service if you want quality service at a fair price. \ more

Fantastic, timely service! 11/6/2013

We had a great experience with this company. The tech, Josh, installed 6 recessed lights in our kitchen, and we couldn't be happier. He was professional, answered all our questions and cleaned up after the job was done. The woman who does the scheduling, Judy, is professional, courteous, very detail-oriented and super nice. The owner of the company, Jeff, came to give us an estimate and was knowledgeable and professional. We highly recommend this company! more

The electrician was very thorough and great at finding solutions. 10/3/2013

We needed some rewiring done. We're in a mobile home, which takes a lot of extra effort compared to a regular home. What the Berk's Electrical and Lightning electrician went through was amazing. He was here for about five hours, working hard that whole time. He did an excellent job troubleshooting and doing what had to be done. more

Overall, it was definitely a very positive experience. Clean work. 10/1/2013

We had a breaker in the house that kept popping, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Berk's Electrical and Lighting's tech was able to diagnose it in about 15 minutes. It turned out to be a problem with an outdoor pool pump that had been broken. He was able to figure it out in very short order, without taking apart my walls or my wires. That was great. more

Positive experience 9/18/2013

I have used Berk's Electrical and Lighting three or four times. They've done everything from fixing an electrical outlet to repairing broken light fixtures. They have good customer service. When you call their office, you get a human person and they are very responsive on the phone. Everything was fine. Just like the saying "If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it," if I'm happy with a service, I continue to use them. They did what they said they would do, show up on time, and are courteous. I would recommend them. more

Berk's Electrical and Lighting worked on my electrical panel. I liked that they offered to phone, and that they gave me information to help me make my decisions. When I made the appointment, they were very on time and very thorough. I was happy! more

Prompt and Professional 8/15/2013

I could not have asked for better service, the electrician was prompt and quickly diagnosed the problems we had with our electrical wiring. We had two new can lights installed, and modification of the kitchen wiring to GFIC. He also noticed potential problem with our water pipes that I will be keeping an eye on. The price was fair, and since Berk's Electrical provided an estimate before performing the work, there was not much to argue about. more

Very pleased and responsive 8/2/2013

I had a light fixture over my bathroom sink that caught on fire and basically almost exploded. So I called Berk's Electrical and Lighting because they were on Angie's List and I've seen their truck in the neighborhood so I called them and I want to say that within an hour or two, there where--the same day! He fixed the light fixture over the sink and installed a new light fixture and fixed all the wiring. He explained what he was gonna do and how he was gonna do it and it was done in a timely manner, as far as I'm concerned. When I told him Angie's List, he gave me the ten percent discount, no questions asked. I'm very impressed with how quickly they responded and fixed it and the price was excellent and I would totally recommend them to anyone--I already have! And I wrote them a review on Angie's List too. more

The guy that came to our house was named Roman. He first came and gave an estimate, and when that was a little too high they worked with us and revised what we wanted to do to meet our budget. The work they did was outstanding. They cleaned up after completing the work, we had no issues. more

Really covered all the bases on this large project 7/10/2013

Berk's Electrical and Lighting is for sure the best. Jeff, the owner, from the very beginning came over and took the time to go over the yard work with me. We had a whole list of things to get done and he met all of my needs and then some. He was quick to get an estimate back and Judy was great about calling and letting me know that the electrician was on the way. Cory was wonderful, friendly, neat and tidy. He did great with our dog and was a great electrician! He did everything on the list, one at a time so it was done and he made sure it was working with me. All good! more

I would rate Berk's Electrical and Lighting at 100! I've been a customer for over 20 years and my experience with them has been one of total satisfaction and appreciation. They are the best company in the world. The owner is just an amazing person - kind and patient. The people who work there are excellent. They are good diagnosticians. They are professional, courteous, prompt, and professional. Their work is above reproach. The work is excellent. I work with a lot of companies and theirs are wonderful. more

Emergency Electrical Service 6/19/2013

Circuit breaker blew leaving us without electricity in the kitchen. Called Berks Electrical. Courteous and understanding of the problem. Technician arrived within the hour as promised. Job completed. Service is fantastic and very reasonable charges. Would not hesitate to recommend. more

We were very impressed 2/27/2012

The tech did a great job. He worked very hard. My neighbour came over and we were very impressed with how good the conduit looked on the wall. It is 100% better than the previous electrical contractor we used. more
