Wow, what a huge difference a short 15 minutes makes! During the procedure there was no pain, just slight pressure and the ticking of a bright red laser. Having spent so much of my life helpless without my glasses and inconvenienced by an expensive contacts routine -- suddenly I could see, and with minimal down-time. I was back at work the following day. This was an all around fantastic experience for me. Dr. Benjamin is an amazing doctor with wonderful staff, who could ask for more? I have worn glasses and contacts most of my life and when I had my consultation with Dr. Benjamin I couldn't have been more impressed. Since this procedure involved my eyes I wanted the best and believe me I found HIM. At the Benjamin Eye Institute they know their stuff from the doctor to all his staff, they make you feel at ease when making such a delicate decision. I went in for my procedure on a Tuesday evening and was up and at work the very next morning with no discomfort. When I went into his office for my next day follow-up appointment my vision was already 20/20, it was amazing!!! I am two weeks post procedure and things are only getting better.
