I spent over $600 on a peridot stone in July 2013 to go into my ring. I'm a novice when it comes to jewelry so I was trusting Belliston's to guide me. The surface of the ring got scratched so I took the ring and was informed that I should not wear the ring because it's a soft stone AND if I did wear it I should not use my hands. This was told to me by the owner DEAN. So to sum up I gave them $661. For nothing great work ethic don't you think more

Bottom Line Up Front: The price I paid for the mistake of going through Belliston Jewelry: $823 + a chipped diamond + a lot of heartache. Belliston Jewelry was unconcerned about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.\r \r The rationale: In 2009 we took our engagement & wedding rings to Belliston Jewelry in Ogden (he came highly referred by word of mouth) to get a basic ring sizing, and then solder the two together. About one year later the two rings broke apart on their own (note: my wife does NOT wear the rings improperly). We noticed that the shanks on both rings were thinned out excessively. The wedding ring was literally razor thin and not wearable. I took just the wedding band to show Dean Belliston (owner of Belliston Jewelry) how unacceptably thin the shank was and that the rings actually broke apart. Much to my surprise, he was actually argumentative about both issues, but eventually broke down and replaced the shank on the wedding band. I did not want him to re-sol more

I got my wife's wedding ring from him and the owner sat down with us and went over the various options there were. He was very knowledgeable of the diamonds and settings that he had. I went later to take the ring to get resized and he did that for free. more

My fiancee order my wedding band through Belliston and asked for it to be engraved. They gave her the day she should expect to pick it up. She called back because she never heard back from them. When she called back on the day she was supposed to be picking it up, they hadn't even ordered it yet. This is not the kind of stress needed a couple of weeks before the wedding. more

I took a watch in that I did not buy in their store. They were very kind and could help right away. I left the watch with them, came back a bit later and picked up the watch. I asked how much and they said they'd take care of it this time as a favor! I was shocked, I didn't know that kind of service still existed.\r \r I will definitely go back and I will send my husband there! :) \r \r Be careful you don't walk in to the dog groomer next door to them though, they are kind of in the middle and you have to pay attention of you'll get groomed instead of getting jewelry. ehehehehehe :) more
