It's gone downhill 12/12/2010

I used to enjoy going here but last time I went in I noticed how old all the nail polishes are. They are either thick and crusty or watered down and streaky. You cannot charge as much as they do and offer an old gross product. I have not thought about going back since. more

bellacures a bellaheadache 9/10/2010

I decided to check out Bellacures as i had heard about it from one of my girlfriends... I decided to go in last week for a much need mani/pedi treatment. When i arrived. The girl at the front desk could have not been so rude, first she did not even look up or acknowledge me but she was on her cell gabbing away about some celeb that was in there. i waited for almost 5 minutes and decided i didnt not want to stay if their front counter girls don't acknowledge when a customer arrives, or even says hello but to talk about clients to their friends on the cell phones i was very unimpressed. more

Big Let-Down 5/11/2010

I'd head great things about Bellacures, but was unfortunately very disappointed by their level of customer service and really nothing special mani / pedi. I most definitely will not be returning. Pros: average mani / pedi Cons: poor customer service more

The only place I'll ever let paint my toes 4/19/2010

Part of me doesn't want to say anything. Part of me wants to keep it my personal secret -- even if it isn't such a secret that Bellacures offers the best pedicures/manicures at the price point in the city. Pros: Clean, friendly employees, pedicures last Cons: Parking more

Eh...just so-so 10/17/2008

I ended up at Bellacures due to citysearch's raving endorsement. I got a same day appointment easily enough for a Tuesday night. Parking wasn't a problem, mostly because it was after 6 on a week night. They weren't busy, and the place was essentially empty. Just two other women getting something done. I got a regular mani-pedi. Nothing too fancy, but not the ""mini"" versions of their services either. The guy that did my nails was friendly. I'm not much for talking while getting my nails done, but he tried to make polite conversation. Pros: Clean, friendly Cons: average quality, poor filing/shaping. more

Great Service and Great staff 9/5/2008

This place is cutting edge for its field. Super clean, they litterally sterilize the tools in a machine like a hospital. Location is right in the heart of Beverly Hills. Plus the owner is very nice and caring of your needs. more

Great nail place...but still has its problems. 8/29/2008

I love Bellacures, I think it's a great place. However, I wish that the staff was consistent...sometimes I will get someone who is GREAT and other times I will get someone who is just awful. The last 2 times I went there, there was a party...everyone was loud, yelling, laughing, drinking champagne...while the rest of us were just trying to relax and get our nails done. It doesn't mean I will never go there again, but I wish they'd put curtains between the chairs or fabric on the walls or something to just help the acoustics in there.... more

Bellacures is my Nail Spot! 6/16/2008

Everything about this place is great! Pros: The staff did everything they could to accomodate me! I was running a little late that day :) Cons: None. I always feel welcomed. more

Best affordable pedicure 5/20/2008

I too have been going to Bellacures since they opened. To the person who gave it a ""one star"" for it's prices, I'm shocked. A regular pedicure is $25 and a manicure is $20. A manicure with a pedicure is only $18. Yes, you can add on treatments and massage ($1/minute) or even go for one of their specialty pedicures which do run on the higher end, but for me, a basic pedi with a 10 min massage is the way to go! And if you sign up for their e-mail newsletter, they regularly send discounts and coupons that you can use on your next visit. They are super clean, use only sterilyzed equipment, one use foot tubs and you sit in oversize easy chairs. Parking has never been a problem and as long as I call before I come (even if I'm on the way), I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. I've gone to many other places around town, but since Bellacures opened, it's been the only place I'll go. Those other places that claim to be clean just can't even compare to the quality and atmosphere of this place! Check it out and then decide. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Pros: great staff, excellent services, sterilyzed environment, good prices. Cons: wish it was closer to me! more

Unparalleled facility, equipment and staff 5/20/2008

I have been a client of Bellacures since they first opened. Bellacures is one of the best places in L.A. to get a manicure and pedicure. This is a place for those who seek a very clean, high-end, relaxed environment with professional technicians and friendly staff. There are plenty of services to choose from. There are no hidden charges. Everything is spelled out in the ""menu"" and if you are not sure if something you would like is extra, just ask. The ingredients they use are all natural and their equipment sterilized. For those who want the 10 minutes $7-10 manicure that leaves hangnails and bleeding cuticles, this is not the place for you. If you want those jet spa chairs whose tubs are never sterilized or washed appropriately, you will not like Bellacures. If you are on a budget, this isn't the place for you either. There are plenty of budget nails shops around town that also do acrylic nails that btw do severely damage your natural nails. Maintaining a place such as Bellacures and running a respectable business in Beverly Hills costs money. You get what you pay for in life. And you can't get much for $10 these days. Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, clean facility, sterilized equipment, competent staff, wide array of services more

EXPENSIVE BUT SANITARY 4/27/2008

Clean, but SO PRICEY! long wait time. extra charges everywhere (beware). friendly staff. The most expen$ive manicure around!! They need more nail techs who know how to do acrylic nails.. they only have 2, and you have to hope one is working that day. AGAIN, CLEAN facility, but WAY TOO OVERPRICED! Pros: clean Cons: pricey more

Excellence 4/11/2008

I have been going here since the beginning of this year and I am sad I did not spot it earlier. Bellacures is so clean, they have disposable bags for each person, they do an excellent job on my mani and pedi and have so many fun and different kinds of services that I could choose from... I love choosing a new pedi everytime I go there. I have read some of the reviews on this site and sometimes some of the girls do upsell, but if I don't want it I just say no... other than that, I think that their service is the best I have found in LA and wouldn't go anywhere else after Bellacures. Pros: Comfy, great manicurists, cool services, clean clean clean, really nice Cons: sometimes parking more

BELLACURES, SHAME ON YOU!!! 3/26/2008

Bellacures is an interesting nail salon. As far as cleanliness goes, it appears to be very clean. I liked that they sterilize their instruments. I was excited to switch from my current salon because of that fact. I go every other week religiously and I am a very easy customer, I keep my mouth shut and never complain about anything. I liked Traci who did a good job with my acrylics and I also liked Sharon who did my pedicures. Both seemed very professional and easy to be with. more

My Favorite Nail Salon!!! 3/17/2008

This is one of the best nail salon experiences I have ever had. It is very hard these days to find a nail salon that is pleasant and clean. Bellacures is really like a salon experience. For the fist time it felt like I wasn't running an errand to get my nails done. They were very professional, clean (they would unwrap each nail tool from plastic and use plastic on all the tubs) had great products, seats were very comfy, the staff wasn't screaming vietnamesein my ear (god I HATE that). It may be a little pricier than other nail salons but its definately worth it. They always have these creative monthly specials..I just did the Detox pedicure and it was amazing!! It lasted much longer than any pedicure I've had. The only downfall is that its probably difficult to walk-in cause they are so booked, so I need to schedule my appointments in advance. Pros: clean, relaxing, superior service and products, ambience, parking Cons: hard to get walk in more

Goin' down; bring it back Bellacures! 2/20/2008

I first heard of this place thru Daily Candy. I've been going for a couple years now for the occasional mani or pedi. Recently I must say the service has been going down big time. I drive out of my way and pay more for good service and cleanliness. The past several times, each time has been progressively worse. Last time actually hurt, as the technician cut and filed way too low on my toenails. I didn't know what to say. (OW!!?) She also was only half paying attention. Pros: spacious, clean Cons: pricey; should be better for the price more

Best pedi on my lunch break! 1/28/2008

I started a hectic day at the office and could not wait for my lunch break. Someone at my office suggested I get a pedi at Bellacures! This has to be the best place to go if you need to take a bit to unwind from the office...I tried out their Let's Do Lunch pedi... and they had my lunch waiting for me when I got there (a yummy and light chicken salad). I was sat on time and done on time and the service was great, the manicurist was attentive to my feet and the whole salon in general was so pleasant and lovely. I will definitely be back on my lunch break! Bellacures is so far the best nail salon I have been to this year! Pros: I was able to relax in my chair even after I was done :) Love that! Cons: Parking was a little hard... but worth the laps around the block more

Great Pedi experince this weekend! 1/28/2008

My friend took me to Bellacures this Saturday... we got thier special ""Detox Pedi"" and it was so relaxing, thorough & cleaned my feet so freakin well. My manicurist was so nice and she did a great polish job. I loved this place... I will definitely be back... oh and also, I loved the chairs and the comfortable environment. I give it a 5 starts because it passed all my requirements: clean, good job, comfy & good polish. Pros: Clean, Comfy, great job Cons: a little more pricey, but I got the most expensive one. So maybe I will try the cheaper ones next time. more

Overated, ""short service"" and not what I expected for a spa mani & pedi 1/21/2008

So my girlfriend suggested we go here (she is new in town and had never been) this weekend, for a ""spa mani/pedi"" I have heard of the place, but had never been, because for 8 years, I have been going to l.a. vie l'orange (a few blocks north on Robertson right past melrose), but since it was walking distance, I agreed. I must say, for the same prices I have been paying at l.a. vie l'orange, I was not impressed with this place and looking at the reviews, Bellacures is highly overated. The ""massage"" was more like a ""quick rub"" with some cream, and the polish and attention to detail was just ok. Also unlike my current place, who gives you all of your files, and buffers to take home with you, the girl just put the file back in the cart, went to the next client and ""re-used"" it. I guess they save money that way, but Its not as clean as I'm used to. Overall, the people were nice, but the place seemed like the regular cheap nail salons, but with big chairs and they were done with us in about 20-25 minutes In the future I'll stick to l.a. vie l'orange, and you should check them both out and make the choice for yourself! Pros: good lighting Cons: to much like the cheapy places for the price more

Great pedicure that lasts 10/31/2007

A friend recommended Bellacures for their great pedicures, so I tried it out on Saturday afternoon not long ago. I called a few minutes ahead of time, and they made a spot for right away. The bright, airy atmosphere is very comfortable, but not at all pretentious, and the mani-pedi tools are sterile. No jetted foot baths, either--A fresh bowl of water is brought out for each customer. My pedicurist did a really precision job, and I was so pleased with the results. The pedicure lasted for several weeks before showing any signs of wear. Just a great overall experience--I definintely would send my friends here if they are looking for a professional mani-pedi in the area, but want a more laid-back atmosphere. Pros: Sterile equipment; very comfortalbe and welcoming more

the best - not cheap but so worth it 10/1/2007

the best manicure pedicure i've ever had! my pedicure lasted at least 3 weeks - i'm now due for another one and while i can't always afford bellacures, i really don't want to go anywhere else now that i've been there. i also got a foot treatment for calluses and my feet are still baby soft a month later! comfy chairs, great products. actually, i just figured out that i can afford bellacures, since their manicure lasts twice as long as the cheap shops. really no comparison in LA. Pros: comfy chairs, great polish choices, long lasting mani/pedi, great massage Cons: not cheap - but worth it! more
