I f you are from NY and miss being able to get genuine high quality deli food then try this place.\r \r Everything I've had from there is really good. The Rueben is excellent and so is the chicken parm. One sub can feed two people.\r \r Also there are a lot of choices in their freezer to bring home and cook like fresh pasta, etc, along with a good selection of hard to find Italian delicacies. more

I get subs here all the time, and they are all great! The place is swamped during "season". They also sell Italian related deli stuff, groceries, wine, supplies, etc. more

My wife and I have lived in Pompano Beach for over 10 years and had only noticed the Bella Monte deli just a few months earlier. Honestly, I do not understand how this Deli is able to have any repeat customers. At first we thought we had discovered a neat little joint with pre-made Italian dishes but for starters the items aren't cheap, I can purchase the same Lipton Sweet Tea down the road for less than .65 less per bottle but picking up a bottle of tea isn't why we entered. We returned for the convenience of the pre-made food which is a bit pricier than Whole Foods but hey they are down the street. \r The Horrible attitudes are why we would NEVER RETURN! Not only is the big in front woman rude and obnoxious but had to witness and hear the same to other patrons along with yelling between co-workers. The third trip was enough for me. Just yesterday we stopped into a Doris Market and WOW what a selection, price difference and….KINDNESS?\r They should have more respect and appreciation for the clients. Shame on them! more

I just happened to wander into this deli while on vacation in pompano beach, and as soon as I walked in I knew it was special. Most of the customers and all of the staff were italian, from either New York or NJ... always a good sign. They have a great selection of sandwiches, so I asked the guy helping me what his favorite was, meatball. It was delicious, from the homemade meatballs, to the spot on marinara, to the fresh sliced provolone and fresh baked italian roll. I can't wait to go back for more. more

Great place & Great food If my mom doesn't make sauce this is the only place I would buy from. They have a good selection of Italian meats and make a great sub. more

Just wanted to say this place is good. The decor isn't new and trendy, no eye-catching artwork, but the food is simply delicious. Perhaps it's the ambiance, but it feels like a true mom & pop store (yes, they sell Italian groceries too). The long line for lunch sealed the deal for me - regulars whom the staff knew by name, joked with, but most of all kept well-fed - and well mannered. Generous portions of meat, cheese, greens. Extensive menu, though it is not only overhead on the sign, but individual sandwiches are printed on separate sheets of paper - you will return several times to read them all and try some new, delectable dish. Meat sliced when you order your sandwich - very nice touch. True Ciabatta bread - hard (not hard tack), but firm enough to let you know it is homemade and not meant for the masses. Prices are reasonable (sandwiches range $6-10) and food is made to order. Worth a visit (or three). Ciao- more
