Loved it! 5/2/2006

We had been to Beau Rivage about 5 years ago, & felt it was nice but a bit pricey & stuffy. We decided to try it this past January & loved it so much we have been back again since. Our waiter was very nice. After seeing a few bad reviews online we were a bit apprehensive but the food was terrific. My sister made me try a salad with pears(I hate pears) and it was really good. I would order it myself. The salmon was perfect, but our favorite was the special dessert that night - a banana-chococolate chip souffle. Very light - mmm - to die for! I highly recommend! Arrogance and Deafening Saxophone 3/24/2006

Food very average. Intolerably loud saxophone throughout the meal obliterated any dinner conversation. Service was haphazard, menus left on table throughout the meal, water glasses not refilled. Despite this, the waiter added a 20% gratuity (on the total AND tax) since we were a party of 9. When I complained to the owner about the music I was told sarcastically, "sorry you feel that way, the sax is a reed instrument and has to be blown into very powerfully to be played. Perfect experience 10/19/2002

My husband and I went for our anniversary. The atmosphere was wonderful and romantic, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. There was nothing left on our plates!! I can't wait to go back!! Pros: Great service, Romantic atmosphere, Excellent food Cons: None at all more
