i say they got it wrong giving them the benifit of the doubt. if i dont then they were just plain lieing to me .the tech pulled up was there less then 10 mins when he said i neede...

Bean service and attitude 2/2/2010

Had a Carrier unit installed to include duct work in Oct 2007. Had numerous service calls but not for the same failure. I could identify the failure by the codes on the Infinity thermostat. It was a Carrier issue and finally due to the insistance of Mr. Bean they were able to work out a replacment unit. Not many folks in this day and day would go the extra mile to help a customer, but I assure you that Bean Heating and Air did and they DO care about their customers.\r \r Give them a try. I had an issue with the invoice and warranty coverage at the time my unit was repaired. After the holidays Mr. Bean, without my contacting him or the company and told me my invoice was wrong. He apologized for the error and inconvenience and corrected the invoice. In the end they fixed the furnace and a problem with a customer that may have been more difficult. more

i say they got it wrong giving them the benifit of the doubt. if i dont then they were just plain lieing to me .the tech pulled up was there less then 10 mins when he said i needed a new unit....they installed it 7 years ago when someone else owned the house.....they told me the compressor was out and the indoor coil leaked.\r i called for another quote on replacing the unit, the guy who came out fixed it for 120 dollars, said coil and compressor was fine....also commented that this isnt the first time hes seen bean cheating and air (his words ) did something like this and something about you cant check if a unit is low with a dead compressor....unit running fine now no thanks to bean.\r \r DONT TRUST THEM\r \r edit to add beano140....bean heating and air guess he posting reviews on himself\r Pros: they did show up for the second appointment Cons: they got it wrong/lie to you more

The last review should be bunk. Alan no longer works there. They may have been very busy at the time. Do you want a company who has been there for years and has a great following? Or a company that might not be here tomarrow working on your a/c? I think I would choose the company with the reputation. Bean.\r Pros: Family owned business. Customer service. POOR SERVICE 6/1/2008

I had a new AC unit put in by Bean Heating and air 1 year ago. It has broke down 4 times in that one year. You try to call, and you get their manager Alan on the phone that says ""we can get you on the schedule some times, but it want be that quick because you call a lot"". How stupid can one be....of course someone is going to call if they have a block of ice on their AC and it is 90 degrees in their house. If I wanted it 90 degrees, I would have saved $5,000 and not put a new AC in.\r \r I still have not heard back from them, and I have called Baileys heating and air in Ringgold. Go figure, they were nice and said ""we will be there at 8am"" (it was a shock when they did not say we will have to work you in on our calander etc...you would think the manager for bean heating and air would have know their schedule).\r \r Do not get me wrong, I have meet Mr. Bean, and he is a nice guy. He just does not have the brightest people working for him, and their customer service is very lacking. I still have a labour warrentee with Bean, but I would rather pay someone to come and fix it right. Pros: gave me the best deal on a new ac unit Cons: ac unit keeps breaking (i quess you get what you pay for) more
