An amazing beachfront escape. 12/29/2011

Both of our trips here have been nothing short of amazing!! The rooms are very nicely, the owners are very caring and nice, the beach starts in the parking lot, there is a hammock, grills, picnic tables, and ocean toys provided, and there is also Wi-Fi and laundry onsite ($2). There are many grocery stores and shops nearby, but the main attraction is the cozy, home-like rooms, the quaint feel of the place, and the fact that you are quite literally on the beach. more

Authentic Beach Experience at Low-Key Resort 2/6/2011

This is our 3rd winter vacation at BeachSide Palms and we really love the resort. It is very low key, very relaxing. If you want a true beachside experience you will find nothing better. The physical structure is quite old but it is lovingly cared for by the owners, Katie and Brian. Everything is neatly painted, trimmed, cleaned and groomed. There are many small courtesies to make you feel at home. For example, a basket of hammock sheets is provided near the hammock. Plenty of reclining beachchairs, charcoal grills, beach toys, fresh flowers, well-tended natural vegetation, and beautifully decorated cabins are the reason we keep coming back. The Gulf sunsets are lovely. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and many entertainment venues are within easy driving distance. We saw ""Billie Elliott"" last night at the Straz in Tampa, then back ""home"" to our beachside cabin. What could be better? more

Best Beach Hotel in Treasure Island 1/4/2009

We have been staying at the Beachside Palms for years now. From the first day, when we desperately needed a place while waiting for a delayed house closing, to coming back for my wife's birthday every year we have enjoyed each visit. They were full one year and we had to stay somewhere else...wasn't the same. Katie and Brian (the owners) are easygoing and as friendly as can be. We love walking out our door, making a right and stepping onto the white sands of the Treasure Island Beach. Many stores and shops in walking distance and finding a restaurant is a matter of choice because they are so plentiful. Of course the kitchen has everything you need to cook as if you were at home. We usually buy a few cook items and are able to get our days started easier for not having to go out to breakfast or change into nicer clothes for dinner. We have recommended the Beachside Palms to our friends and family and always look at our annual visit as the highlight of our year. Pros: Right on the beach, Parking, Easy going more

Classic, Intimate, Family Friendly Florida Motel 1/2/2008

The Beach Side Palms is one of the last great Florida motels directly on the beach. This motel fully embraces the beach lifestyle while providing clean comfortable rooms to relax in. There are not too many places left where you can be walking in sand just a few feet outside of your front door. For almost 10 years now my daughters and I have been staying a week in July. Our family event has grown from one room to a reunion using almost every room this year. Katie and Brian (the owners) are very accommodating and have always made us feel at home. We feel like part of the family for a week. You won't find that in a hotel or condo. We are looking forward to many more years of our family event at our beach motel. Pros: Classic, Intimate, Family Friendly Florida Motel Cons: I only get to spend one week a year. more
